I really like Zach Bryan he's one of the up an coming artist and he's got some good songs.
I’m a city boy but love good country. For lyrics and relatable story telling I don’t think you can beat country. I like all types of music but I love great lyrics and how stories are constructed. Country all day long.
Revival and The Fifth of May are two Deep and lyrical songs that go under the radar a lot. When I remind people they always say “OHHH yea I forgot about thoses.” The fifth of May you can really paint the picture in your mind.

The “grass, trees and dew. How I just hate you” isn’t him sayin he hates her it’s him sayin he hates the nature and morning bc he was expecting her to come back in the morning (the orange). He misses her in the mornings the night comes and the cycle repeats when the sun rises (the orange)
adding to this, in the morning the orange gives him hope that today is the day she returns. in the evenings, the orange returns, and she hasnt. he hates the way the orange of the sun shines on the trees, on the grass, and on the dew, setting him up for another day of heartbreak.
