@@elenagonozova3173 The original books that feature Elena Michaels were "Bitten", "Stolen", "Broken", "Frostbitten" and "13". These are part of a larger collection called "The Women of the Otherworld Series" by Kelley Armstrong.
This show never should have been cancelled. It was exceptional, especially in the first season or two. Sadly, as usually happens, instead of the writers trying harder to stick to the original story line, they took the easy way and just kept adding more types of supernatural creatures, making it more and more silly and less and less as powerful and believable as it was at the start. Still good, but not great like at the start. They should get the original cast together again, and start back up, new seasons, but keep the only supernatural beings as werewolves, aristocratic and other, werewolves and humans, and write better not easier. My two cents. But what a loss, losing this series. Wow! Exceptional.
Exactly what happened with Supernatural! Made it all angels, demons and God. Original or not, all the best episodes were monster episodes before it became super political.

The Leftists seem to force their way into everything, and ruin things for those of us who just want to be allowed to live our lives, enjoy our shows, and live a good life, pursuing our many and varied dreams. It's difficult to get into a character or into a story line or mood when leftist propaganda slaps us in the face. I've walked out of movie theatres, stop watching tv shows or movies certain actors are in, and yes, reminisced about a time when Hollywood loved its entire audience not just half, and frankly, when comedy was actually comedy, more light hearted and fun, even in its satire. If only.
I'm reading the series by Kelley Armstrong and it's 13 books long. From Bitten it extends into an entire world of supernatural creatures. Half demons, necromancers, sorcerers, witches, vampires, shamans. It really is a complicated and fascinating world Kelley created. In the second book is where a lot of these other creatures are created. So after season 1 (book 1) the writers just went in that direction as well. The books are still better and I think everyone should read them.

Do you know, is the first book of the thirteen the only one about Elena and the other characters in the Bitten tv series, or do all the subsequent books include the same characters among whatever new characters are added? It looks like each book is completely independent of the others, the main common ground being strong women, or strong and sexy women.
@@Nate-zy5ce So Bitten was Kelley Armstrong's very first book ever (Still really good but she of course improves over time.) So the first two books has Elena as the main character and then the next two focus on the witches and then the others look at other characters. I'm not done with the series yet but I know the later books come back to focus on Elena again. There are also two books after the 13 books about the kids of these characters and a couple spin-off series set in the same world (how I originally found Bitten). It's a lot but all the characters are really interesting and no matter who you follow it's a good time.
One thing I didn't like about the show after the first season, they stopped showing nude women but kept showing nude men. Kind of think the show was target more to women but it was a good show otherwise
Nude women are always in every movie or tv show give us a break carry the torch for awhile(from low budget horror movies to high end tv shows where the men are fully clothed)

It was a good show. There was enough material in the books for five seasons and great story lines that were never followed.

The book series was good. But, the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs is better. As is its spinoff Alpha and Omega.
