That would depend on the static water level in that well or what the depth to water is from the top of that well to the water surface, and what that water level might drop to when pumping that water out. Most ANY non-submersible pump can only handle a max 25 feet of lift on the suction side of that pump, and that’s from the water surface to the pump inlet and that’s at sea level.

I'd like to use a gas pump to fill a tank using a 60-80ft well as the source. Would that work fine?
