Lovely to see the progress on both hats. I hope you can have them both ready for the big day. I did not know that a store would take down their Christmas windows so many days before Christmas. We were so surprised, I can imagine it being taken down Xmas eve or something ready for the sale after Xmas, but the 21st seems far too early.

Helen, what a great Vlogmas episode! It had everything! Brussel sprouts look very jolly on their stalk, don’t they? I wish I liked them, but I have the form of the PTC gene 🧬 that makes them taste bitter. Jasper’s art project show was very enjoyable. I am continuing to be delighted by my Giddy Yarns Advent. I haven’t selected a project for it yet, but I want to be very intentional about it in order to showcase the beautiful color progression.
We love a sprout here, I struggle with lots of bitter flavours, I can't drink coffee, or tonic water or grapefruit etc but I can manage sprouts, although some other types of cabbage I can't do.
Did you use a patter for the faux cable cuff on that sock, or did you kind of make it up?
I followed a Purl soho tutorial for a mock cable Rib. I did link under one of the vlogmas videos, but I can't remember which one 🙈
