"Should I stay or should I go?"
Those clever bastards...
Holy fuck dude. That might be why they actually put that song in the game.
Oh my fucking lord. I never even caught on to that. You sir, are a genius.
Dude, my mind just blew up.
Right,i noticed that too!
You should stay, Enjoy the crab rangoon!
"I finished far cry 4, it was awesome!"
"What was it about?"
"Dinner"
lazygamer crab Rangoon
The dish was fabulous
At least the Far Cry 4 dinner was a much better dinner than the Resident Evil 7 one.
lmao
haha xD
Ubisoft admitted that this is the Canon ending as it was the most likely outcome in real life. If someone like that tells you to stay put and enjoy the crab Rangoon, you stay put and enjoy the crab Rangoon 🦀
I'm allergic to crab 😔
and your name is crab? wtf
I wish we could fight against golden path with step dad pagan...
I differ doe, willis mentions Ajay and also Jason in fc5 meaning where Ajay stayed in the compound isn't canon
Wait is there a trophy for staying or is it just an easter egg?
I love how that Far Cry 4 as a 30+ hour story is literally a giant red herring because the 15 minute story is the cannon one.
No its not. In far cry 5 Willis mentions Ajay. If this is the cannon ending they would not meet.
@@slasher7991 but if Willis was there to neutralize Pagin or something, it still make sense if he mentioned Ajay. With Ajay joining Pagin to kick some ass, Ajay could be Pagin's right hand man where Willis could have a hard time killing the duo
*these are just my thoughts
@@typhoon3201 he specifycally mentions working with Ajay
@@slasher7991 Each game takes place in different timelines, loosely connected to each other with little references to each other. In the FC4 timeline Ajay stays and eats the Crab Rangoon. In FC5, he fights. You can see evidence of that like memorabilia in Hurk’s house and Willis giving him a quick mention. At the same time, FC5’s timeline sees a nuclear war which doesn’t happen in 6’s timeline
Sorry to be that asshole of a guy but y’all all spelling Canon wrong….unless Far Cry use “cannon” for canonical instead of the word “canon”
This is the actual game, all that golden path shit is just an easter egg.

Not really. You're an American another country's internal conflict is none of your business. Go there spread the ashes hang out with your host go back to America alive.
Source: I've spent 11 years overseas. Trust. Stay out of the affairs of other countries.
Just wish it would've expanded into a whole secondary campaign where you work with Min to take down the Golden Path.
considering how every major golden path character was either boring or hate-able, it would've been much more fun to side with this great villain who was way underused
+Ridikis And the fun thing is that you really wouldn't have needed to change much at all, because practically all the missions could've been kept the same, just swap around the models of the soldiers and switch some of the characters around. Really, the only difficult part would've been to come up with a new storyline for the Min campaign (as in, new cutscenes before and after major missions), but other than that you could really keep 95% of the game as is.
***** I did. Well I suppose he's not an entirely bad guy, but in terms of the way he's advertised and the way the story is constructed, I think it's okay to say that his role in farcry4 was "the villain"
sb792079 I guess, thank God for quotation marks
+Ridikis thats what i was wishing
I love the part where Pagan says that Lakshmana shouldn't be alone anymore and that he's glad they're all back together. It's actually pretty heart warming and a hell of a lot better than the other endings.
This ending is LEAGUES better than the others 😂 just wish we got a whole path of just fighting rebels and bonding with Pagan 😁
It's the best ending for us and Pagan as well.
A part of his long lost sanity is brought back when he finally gets to see his family together. Pagan loved Ashwari more than we could understand and seeing Ajay facing all the oddities to bring her mother's remains back to Kyrat definetely left a mark on the dictator.
@@johnwhite4461 yeah. I genuinely liked pagan in my playthrough. He was always nice to aj despite trying to get him killed
@@johnwhite4461 imagine if they go back to this game as a semi sequal all these year later and they give you this as the setup for the game.

everyone saying "this is what you would do in real life, I mean the food looks great!" when in reality you would do this in real life because you were too fucking terrified to move from that seat
Yeah really, if I found myself in a building with a violent dictator and his goons but he makes a point of NOT killing me then I'd just stfu, sit down, and eat that rangoon.
Also where would you go? The place is obviously his palace or something. With the amount of security there is to get in, no doubt trying to get out is as equally difficult
@OnlyBigBoned I probably gonna get lost somewhere before I gonna be in that bus.

I mean it would be that and also that food does look pretty good too.

I really liked that last line, about shooting the "goddamn guns". I think it's not only him saying it's time to have fun, but also suggesting now you've gotten the experience out of the way, it's time to restart and play the actual game.
Zombieskittles what?
you cant restart reality
Honestly, this is probably what any real person would have done if stuck in the same situation. Very clever.
I would thought that I should eat some good food before they killed me.
After what he done:
I could calls Pagan Min as my dear father
Honestly all I need in life. A sociopathic father and some good food.
I get what you mean. It’s clear he’s not hostile to you, and even though he sounds sarcastic most of the time, he shows genuine care about your well being, constantly apologizing to you (“once, twice, thrice” rule).
Literally yeah. You are asked by your fucking sociopath half-father(?) to enjoy the food and wait, and you're hearing torturous screams. I'd honestly be so fucking shocked by my first experience (with the bus) from Pagan I'd just chill. Eat, enjoy the view, walk around a bit, then just sit and wait.
@@dm3402 makes life easier for both of em
I just came to the realization that the reason Pagan killed the checkpoint officer was because he thought the officer killed his step-son. Pagan didn't notice Ajay was there until after he killed the guy.
Honestly, if I was in the same space as the person who I believed killed my son or step-son, I'd have murderous intentions too.
oh yes, that makes the killing reasonable
@@xerl 99% of Human History says _yes._
Yeah, so many people seem to think he just killed him cause why not. Had Ajay not bursted the back doors of the bus open and ran out (which, evidenced by the other people who did the same, was a VERY risky situation as opposed to staying put in the bus) the soldiers wouldn't have stopped firing and Ajay would be dead. That justifies the officer's death since Ajay is essentially his nonbiological son.
@@thiswedefend1170 You have a point there ... and that makes Pagan Min actually quite awesome ... I mean, Ajay is not his biological son, rather his step-son from his lover but with another man, yet he still cared for Ajay.
In the loading screen, it's also implies that pagan min was being a recluse in his fortress for more than a decade. He came out just to meet him.

Considering this was CONFIRMED as the true ending (by the Main narrative director), they really should have built a bit more around this ending, perhaps carrying over saved data from the other endings for stats and inventory, but reversing the enemies, you on Pagan's side and against the Golden Path, even if it was just in adventure mode.

Richard Tóth well, in my Opinion Pagan is the Best leader out of the 3. Amita force children to work on drug Farms and the Parents get forced to fight for the Terrorists. Sabal killing people because they dont believe in the religion or just not such fanatic like himself.
Pagan was just down on the ground ( maybe he should visit Yogi and reggie,( just a little Joke :p))
because He lost ishwari and his daugher (she was not even 1 year :/) i would probably Act worse than him, if that will happen to me.
Also in the middle of Act 2 he said He want to make kyrat great again. He never lied to ajay in the campaign. Anyway, Terrorist-shooting with uncle pagan is actually funnier than kick his Ass. ;)

This is the true ending in my mind, it's what any normal person in real life would have done. You have a nice dinner with family(who is fucking loaded), he takes you over to the mountain to fulfill your mother's will, you finish what you went there for, then you shoot guns and have fun. 10/10 trip, would visit again.
A gamer chick ! Marry me ? :P
Gabriel Moore
First off, as a visitor, you have no inkling of what's happening in a foreign country. The culture and political system is completely alien to you, so why would you, realistically, get yourself involved in these foreign affairs ? Visitors would have just complied with the authoritative figures, no reason to get themselves killed in some foreign land over some business that doesn't concern them.
Ask yourself this. Would you go on tour and in the middle of that tour, abandon your way of life and join up with some foreign militant group? Of course not. This ending challenges game logic.
blablabla8172 Holy shit, You're cancer.

Why does no one in the top comments understand that this is actually pretty neat?
Of course the game wants you to just go nuts on his ass and start the real game but if you do something out of the ordinary for once you can trigger a secret ending which they apparently put some effort into and still left it in as only a secret.
As much as Ubisoft has been fucking up lately this here is nothing to complain about.
Or did you actually think the real game was just 15 minutes long and everything you saw from the trailers was just fake?
But why ever play the game when you don't have to do anything to beat it?
557deadpool are you really this fucking dumb?
From the comments, it actually looks like a lot of people think this is the real ending. Just when you thought people didn't get any stupider.
UA-cam's comments system pretty much makes it so ass-hats who complain or troll get the top comment. People discuss and down votes don't get counted, only upvotes get counted. I get you can't censor negativity but the fact is the UA-cam comment system can be manipulated in very annoying ways. Ubisoft has fucked up because people have been buying their games, and making the demand high for games coming out yearly. With pre-orders and all of that. I get that having a new game every year is nice, but when a publisher rushes games we get stuff like Assassins Creed Unity/ Far Cry 4 looks good though and I think this ending is really cool, I might consider buying the game, but the way Ubisoft is handling stuff, maybe not.
Alex No but why when I can get a better ending by doing nothing?
To be honest, I can't say I wouldn't do the same. I'd be fully content to just sit there. I'd be chicken shit scared but it's not my business to get involved in a war I wasn't born into.

If you look closely at the arrival of Pagan Min, you can see the regret and real disappointment as he looks at your current condition and about to get your head blown off. Another theory is that those Golden Path members in the bus are trying to get you killed on your way to your destination by making it look like an accident.

I love how the loading screen gives gameplay tips after you've effectively finished the game.
That's because to keep you wondering that there is more about to come 😂
Interesting how the game chose to mention that Pagan Min has been a recluse in his palace for more than a decade (11:11, funnily enough) during the loading screen after he comes back to whisk you away from dinner. It adds a lot more context to the secret ending. A depressed stepfather, longing to know how his estranged son is doing, without any idea on how to possibly contact him. Maybe that company eventually rounded out his rougher edges and shaped him into a better leader, who knows.
Strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
I see what you did there with the Wargames reference lol

The only proper ending. You did what you came for. Now you have fun! No need to suddenly be a soldier for a terrorist organization, just do what you came for and bro it up with your fam!
You people have no concept of honor.
Honor? Fucking please. Dropping that shit was the best thing that came from the 19th century
The protag suddenly joining a terrorist group and gunning people down was stupid. Atleast in FC3 it made sense being forced to kill people.
Dakkaman Are you trying to get a rise out of me so you can point out that the honor system still exists today?
Even if we disregard the idea of honor, staying in that room was far more of a logical idea. You know nothing about where you are, except your in a palace of a crazy dictator. Dictator's palaces tend to have a lot of guards, even if they are not facing an ACTIVE TERRORIST THREAT. You know little of the country, nothing about the palace, or the surrounding area, except what you can see out of the window.
You also know Pagan is willing to kill someone straight in front of you, and send another to be tortured. Yet he has shown he doesn't want to hurt you for some reason, maybe out of respect of your mother. If Pagan wanted you dead, you would of died on the bus. So, from what little information you have, and if you value your life, the most logical course of action is just to keep your ass in that chair and wait. It is a far saner action than joining a terrorist group that will put your life in danger for every second of every day.
The honor comment was sarcasm.. i didn't intend to start some shit throwing fest.
All Pagan Min wanted was to set the record straight and bond with his step-son but noooooo you couldn’t just enjoy dinner.
One of the best “villains” in a video game ever. I wish the game went this route rather than the fun side quest that is the golden path.
are you kidding me

The problem with this game is that you'll realise that you are fighting for the wrong side (golden path) when you're in the middle of the story and there's no point of going back. When Amita and Sabal turned enemies over conflict of interest, it is evident that they don't give two shits about welfare of kyrat. All they had is greed over power so that they can be nothing but a dictator.

The biggest irony of all.
Sabal turns Bhadra into a religious symbol to manipulate everyone and kills all who opposed him.
Amita turns Kyrat into a drug state and forces children to become soldiers and kills Bhadra (not sure about that though).
Pagan Min, on the other hand, aside from killing that soldier in the beginning and having Paul torture Darpan, actually takes you to Lakshamana and lets you scatter your mother's ashes and reveals to you that he is your stepfather.
Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 are not the stories about an outsider helping the natives revolt against the tyrannical overlord, they are similar stories about how the outsider gets dragged in the conflict, he decides to help the natives to fulfill his duty and how the natives use him for their own purposes.
Nikhil Hirani That... makes a lot of sense, actually.
I never got into this series, though I know it's pretty good. Now, maybe I'll try it again and see how it goes.
Yeah, forget about all the heroin, murder of innocent civilians, the city of pain, Shanath Arena, and reeducation prisons in the mountains! Pagan is a true hero!
James S.
From the limited perspective of Ajay, Pagan Min only wished to help him as he realised in the end (depending on your choice). You as Ajay don't know what's what in the beginning (like Jason from FC3) and get dragged down in the mess, where everyone wishes to take advantage of you (Amita and Sabal in FC4 and Citra in FC3). If I had to choose the best ending in FC4 (personal choice regarding the story), it would be to wait for Pagan in the beginning. Why? It's more believable; you wouldn't want to escape the house of crazed dictator who says you are his stepson in the middle of the day, would you?
Nikhil Hirani After he stabs a guy, you hear screaming coming from his basement, and you know people with guns are about to show up? Yeah, I'd want to get the fuck out.
Nikhil Hirani To be fair, Pagan only killed the guy cause he almost killed Ajay, his SON. I would be pretty pissed too. Seems like killing him was pretty tame for a dictator.
You know what’s also great about this ending this chef that cooked the crab Rangoon is spared
AHAHA
The most brilliant thing about the game was the way they picked the song.
Adventurer gets stranded in some god forsaken exotic place where everyone close to him gets murdered by some self-absorbed powerful psycho who also controls him.
Wow somehow it reminds me of something I've already seen, can't quite put my finger on it though.
no one close to him is getting murdered. he is alone over there and he choses to help people to end the tyranny of there so called king. if you havent played it then dont judge.
"Adventurer gets stranded in some god forsaken exotic place" Except he goes there by choice? And the bloke from the embassy even tells him it's a bad idea? "everyone close to him gets murdered" He goes alone? Who was he close to that got murdered? "some self-absorbed powerful psycho who also controls him" How is he being controlled? And where have you seen this before?
But yeah same game, totally.

Throughout the years I can't tell how many times I started far cry 4 and end up just doing this ending... It's so good. I hoped for a dlc that lets me continue from here so I can finally play again
I can't be the only one who hoped there would be more to this secret ending. I would've loved fighting the Golden Path, side-by-side with Pagan Min.
omg now THAT was one of the most badass things I've ever seen
this really shows you how it is, perception. Call him what you want, Pagan Ming was just a dad who became a king
SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO
I really enjoyed seeing this ending, and the ending itself; Ubi knew they couldn't pull of another Vaas, so why not do the opposite? Sure, he was somewhat condescending and crazed; but he only wanted you to wait, and you decided to throw yourself into war. Personally, as much as I loved Vaas' character, I find myself loving Pagan more so than Vaas, I knew from the trailers that I would not absolutely hate him like Vaas, this man Pagan had done nothing to hurt you; hell he even killed his soldier because he almost killed you. Ubi really suprised me with this game, which originally looked so similar to FC3, but turned out to be possibly a better recipe. I hope they don't turn around this marvelous ending and make a DLC where Pagan becomes an antagonist...
8BitZachary I agree with you man, this kind of story, showing how Pagan acts in this game, it really shows that the whole right and wrong is dumb. If you want to stop someone, sure go ahead. Just don't involve any of this 'right thing to do' bull
I knew pagan didn't want to kill you from what the trailers were showing you and SPOILER ALERT .......... He still didn't want to at the end of the real campaign. :)
omg no wonder that song was being played. it was playing just because of this whole scene LOL
Mecha Jake STAY
This makes sense. Look at the colours of his clothing. It's pink and white. Pink means love and white means peace and protection in movies. Similiar colour rules apply to VIDEO games.
This man was not meant to be a threat to you. He's not even threatening you (the MC) he's 'just' violent and brutal but that's how leaders are meant to be. He never threatens you, he never does anything hurtful to you. He wasn't meant to be the antagonist.
Yeah he's not even the antagonist until you get involved in the revolution.

The thing i love about this ending is that its what everyone would realistically do in this situation. Theres no way when the king of a country is being this nice to you you would try to escape. In fact after what you'd seen you would be too terrified to do so.
Ok Ubisoft, now it's time to re-release Far Cry 4 with a full campaign if you decide to side with PAgan Min.
They're busy releasing a new Far Cry game almost every year, they don't have time for the old ones.
@@TraceguyRune Yes, and I just de-installed Far Cry 6 after about two hours of play because it's just not good enough. Compared to this, it's just a boring sequel.
This is so great for so many reasons:
1. At the title drop at the beginning the song says "Should I stay or should I go?", think about it, fucking genius.
2. This is the kind of freedom of choice we need more of in games.
3. Pagan Min isn't really the villain from the beginning, you make him the villain the moment you run away.
It's so fucking good I just can't begin to explain it. seriously. Far Cry 3 was great but this little easter egg makes Far Cry 4 like 10 times better than 3.
Yep its so fucking genius and this in another games will be good.
"This is the kind of freedom of choice we need more of in games"
No it fucking isn't, if you choose this path you don't get to really play the game, you should have been able to continue the game broing it up with Pagan Min if you wanted to but no, instead you get a credit roll. I mean, yeah, the fact that the option to wait was there is nice but that's not really much of a "Choice" and is more of an easter egg.
***** Wario Land 2 have same design from beginning. You know?
PowderGuyTC Unfortunately, I've never played any of the Wario Land games so I don't exactly understand what you're getting at.
Wario Land II walkthrough #1: Don't wake up
I would totally blow up rhinos with c4 and hunt down terrorists in helicopters with my step-dad. Who the fuck wouldn't? Ubisoft, please make this DLC. This is the one and only time that I will ever ask for that stuff.
Agreed. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, hell yeah I'd love to help him take on those terrorists.
I don't even have the game, and I think that if they added a DLC where you got to shoot guns with your badass stepfather, I'd totally buy the game.
i really hope they do. i mean, they made a whole ridiculous game with far cry 3 with the dragons, i don't see why they wont make another half game where you get to do a campaign with pagan
TheRealCheeseSticks If I had to choose between Blood Dragon and this DLC with Pagan, screw Blood Dragon, going with Pagan is way more fun.
Aspiring Marauder No its not, I said if I had to choose, and honestly, that "glory of the 80's" is the real bullshit here. I hope you like fighting Yetis tho.
This ending really show who is pagan min really are. "Im so glad we're finally together" shows how he missed his little family. Seeing ajay with his mom ashes relieve pagan how he miss ajay mom
It would've been nice if Ubisoft made a story mode allows you to you side with Pagan and fight the Golden Path to avenge Lakshmana and Ishwari Ghale or side with the Golden Path and hear Amita and Sabal argue over everything. A real ally supports you on your quest, not bribe you into doing their bidding. What has the Golden Path done to support Ajay other than aiding him in battle? Nothing!
*golden path soldier proceeds to shoot at a random pagan soldier miss every shot and die from a raccoon while you shotgun blast the enemy* yeah “aiding”
Lost DLC idea
I love Pagan XD
I think he loves Ajay as his own son.
He really loved his mother Ishwari and hated Mohan for what he did to her and their daughter Lakhsmana.
I think now he and Ajay will be family.
I think this is the better ending.
obviously he loves him like a son didn't you hear him say that hes so glad that him and ajay are back together
That's why i said it.
ryaan Asady Can you fucking read?
AnimeFreak43511 no
Agree.. I dislike Ajay's father at some points more than Pragan
He asked his wife to seduce the other man and killed his wife's daughter.. wtf
In contrast, Pragon did not kill Ajay but treat him as his son, when Mohan killed his own daughter
There you have it. Far cry 4 retails for 60 dollars and has under 30 minutes of gameplay.
It's actually went down to 30
UpsetJuice Obviously as a result of my comment.
Stephen Pope I got it for 40€
Not really, that's a pretty big generalization right there, especially when this isn't really how your supposed to do it.
Zach Harrelson I know. it was just a joke.
Imagine how many players waited and they got this ending for a 60 dollar game
me, i buy crack version, hate the game because the ending is bitch, knowing alt end. love the game and buy the game

It must be the best ending of this game. I wish we could play this story instead of helping some crazy people which are ready to kill each other because of confusion and stupidity in their heads. It seems that the most sane here is Pagan...
Sane doesn't sit well with me. But I agree he is the best character in the game.
There wouldn’t be much story with that though, when you get there the golden path is on its heels, one attack that ajay stops almost wiped the golden path out
When I first time playing.. I thought Golden Path is good. I was wrong. Amita is worse than Pagan (she even enslave child for drug factory), and Sabal is religious nuts....
Imagine if Ubisoft had created an entirely 2nd, alternate campaign where you joined Pagan instead.
It downplayed that Pagan had total control when he really didn't, with the Golden Path having complete control (in this alternate campaign).
You then work with Pagan to wipe out the Golden Path.
This would turn Amita and Sabal into antagonist characters, forcing them to work together (even if they don't want to) because you are a threat to them.
Their locations in the game would change so you can't just go right to the village and kill them. The security of those areas would be beyond extreme and probably heavily fortified in this alternate campaign.
Kinda like, various people won't spawn so you can't just kill them off early.
I mean let's be honest, either Amita and Sabal are both horrible dictators and wouldn't really be much of an improvement.
Imagine having all those strongholds to defend and order the platoons of soldiers around. Then hunting down the GP and avenging your sister.
I wish more games allowed us to side with anyone we wanted and allowed us t play how ever we wanted.
I mean in this situation, Min kept the player alive, stabbed a soldier to death with a PEN because his men could have killed the player, took him to a feast, had his right hand man simply stop the player with a gesture rather than a fist to the face, tortured the other person, alluded that he knew the player's mother, AND trusted the player to do whatever in HIS mansion without guards surrounding him the entire time Min was gone.
I hate how we're forced to fight with the "resistance" without knowledge of what the situation is other than
"OMG THIS GUY STABBED SOMEONE! OH NO HE'S EVIL!"
Min is the chef, Pagan is the dude with the sick har
+PlaGueRAza ..... Pagan Min is his name.
yeahh sorry about that, I realized it after I commented. I wasnt thinking or something lol.
there are games like that its called fallout

The game actually gives us the hint in the first scene. Before stabbing the guy,Pagan Min says "I'm very particular with my words".Then,in the meal scene, just before his departure for the moment,Min says"Now,please, stay right here.Enjoy the Crab Rangoon.Don't move.I will be right back".He says "particularly"what to do to get this ending.
10:38 Sabal had a quick and painless death
I hated the Golden Path. They were really the "bad guys" the entire time. I really wanted to help out Min and wipe out the filthy rats.
How is that ??
Rizki The golden path only cause more suffering and destruction
@@deanddy I don't remember why at this point but I still think the Golden Path are annoying
I’m pretty sure the golden path formed because pagan min murdered the heir of Kyrat
i just like pagan i would be his side even if he was the real bad guy
That's by far the best ending. Lol. How awesome it would be if you could team up with Pagan and take down the Golden Path. I'd like to play that. I really like this guy.
Marina 361 - an obscure area code.
only if the devs made a DLC for that, I would totally buy it.
@@jyggalag9838 I love how this game came out years ago and were still talking about how awesome it would be to join pagan min.
the golden path turns evil at the end anyways
at first i really wanted to stay put. like, "damn, what a fine life i have here with pagan min" but.. eh, i didn't know that it was the ending😂
Let's see here:
- Pagan Min lived as a recluse in his palace for a decade, when Ajay and his mother ran away to America and Lakhshmana was killed at the age of 1, which has definitely not been very good for his mental
- When the bus was stopped and gunfire was exchanged, and Pagan comes in to see the checkpoint guards have massacred the passengers, he assumes that Ajay was part of the dead passengers, leading him to John Wick an officer with a pen, out of anger that they (probably) murdered his stepson
- Even with the fact Pagan just fucking killed someone in front of Ajay, he tries to set his emotions aside to greet him and apologize with his face (and his fucking shoes) covered in fresh blood
- Despite all of this, Min bagged Ajay's head to prevent him from remembering the path that was taken to the fortress, implying this location was meant to be kept a secret in case shit goes down
Yeah, I don't think I would like to fuck with the guy who has chosen to hospitable to me and only me specifically, and offer me a freshly cooked first-class meal while brutally torturing the man who is trying to get a location to recover the American traveller who just wanted to spread their mother's ashes in the next room over
Just eat the food, check out the scenery, follow what the psychopathic dictator tells you to do to keep him on your good side, spread the ashes, and shoot some goddamn guns
After playing through the story and seeing all sides of the story I love how it isn't so black and white both sides have their large faults and it's a bad situation all around but honestly? I find myself siding with Pagen min. He is a ruthless dictator who has done and is still doing terrible things but in my opinion he's better then the golden path. That and well he's just way more charming then either of the golden paths leaders
Also he cares for Ajay. Sorry for my english

Alternate Ending: Stay!
Even the Song: “Should I stay or should I go”
I just love how Ajay is not so talkative and sometimes he says something, only when he finds it important or anything. It makes him feel like a kind of silent type of of person. And that ending, I wish it would be DLc like you and the imperial army against the golden path.

Second storyline. Please ubisoft. DO IT. RIGHT NOW!
Yea. Never really get what if feels to be a real bad guy and not undercover.
Axentec
gta?
Axentec
Spec Ops The Line?
Axentec technically not a bad guy, as the golden path are terrorists.
Actually in far cry 4 there is a different story line if you explore his mansion. If u don't wait in that room you won't expect what you would have. ( not gonna spoil the surprise play it you selfs)
Now that I think about it, everything in the introduction cutscene is just the game telling the player to try and get the secret ending.
1. The agent speaking on the phone saying that there's civil unrest with local authorities at war against the Golden Path.
2. Darpan saying he'll "do the talking" but does jack sh*t except for that one line.
3. Everything that Pagan Min does. His "particular with words" motto, him hugging you and apologizing the moment he recognizes you, telling you not to worry about anything and everything else. (He even keeps on apologizing to you even at dinner and in the secret ending cutscene.)
4. The song saying "should I stay or should I go".
5. The first room of the game not being guarded by anyone, albeit being De Pleur's compound. It says a lot on how Pagan Min actually wants you to feel at home.
6. He also leaves Mom's ashes with you instead of taking it with him as "insurance".
Probably the reason why this secret ending works so well compared to all the FC games that followed.
Bonus: On the cover of the game, the statue that Pagan Min is sitting on has these form on the hands. IIRC, it means "patience" in Indian myth or superstitions (can anyone confirm that please? thanks)

Though I, as many others, wished there was a way to play the game on Pagan Min's side, the Golden Path was flawed from the very start and it would only lead Kyrat down a slipery slope, be it isolated ultra-traditionists or corrupt druglords with child soldiers and slavery. Neither Golden Path ending was good, the only reasonable one was to stay and enjoy that damn crab rangoon.
How was it the best in the series? the MC becomes a murderer and a tool for no reason the MC had no reason to try and kill pagan the so called "villan" even the storyline is subpar not to mention that shangri-la dogsith worst farcry I've played far cry 3 is 10 times better with a well structured story and goated villains far cry 4 is a recycled far cry 3 except its garbage
