I'm not very good in english (sorry) but Prost really said : "A truck driver with big arms would have done better as well" It's a little different. He never said that the Ferrari was a truck. But yes, the italian press distorted his words
@youretearingmeapartlisa5132 you’re right, after more than ten year i still can’t erase from my mind the onboard video from Abu Dhabi where it understeers and oversteers in the same corner. 😟
@MarcoVilla1993 Yeah, that one was painful, and there are plenty more examples of that. Have you seen any of Alonso's onboards from the 2014 British gp?
@@MarcoVilla1993 Well, 2024 was a big step in the right direction, if you ask me. It's definitely been more stable and consistent since Vasseur took over. Let's see what Hamilton can do in red.
2016: Sebastian Vettel 1991: Alain Prost: 2021: Charles Leclerc 1986: Michele Alboreto 1965: John Surtees (i think) 1967: Chris Amon 1962: Phil Hill (i think) 1993: Jean Alesi 2020: Charles Leclerc 2014: Fernando Alonso 1992: Iván Capelli 1969: Chris Amon 1973: Jackie Ickx 1980: Jody Sheckter
The 312 T5 is the most embarrassing F1 car ever, to win constructors and drivers the year before to getting 10th the constructors and no podiums in a Type 5 of the previous car that had won 3 championships already is so disappointing, 1980 probably had some very high suicide rates in Italy
Should've changed seb's tyres during the red flag in australia really, mercs were op but rosberg and hamilton seemingly forget how to start during a few races that year
@@Obi-WanKannabis i wrote it in the description of the video. I’ve started counting from 1958 with the establishment of the Constructor Championship. 😉

Prost was fired from Ferrari because he said "The 643 it's like driving a truck"
and the italian press was like: prost said that the ferrari IS a truck. (and he was fired 💀)

Not to mention I’m pretty sure he was referring to the car when the power steering failed
15:28 I don't recall the F14T being this steady in the corners.

@youretearingmeapartlisa5132 yes, just awful. Hope this year’s car will not feature in a video like this! 😁

You could technically add the Ferrari 642 as well, since that contested the first few races of 1991.
