As a surgeon, I can tell you the doc wasn’t worried about the pain, he was assessing his own injury and he was worried about his career! Can’t be a good hand surgeon without good fine motor skills after all. Hope he came back to thank you boys for your help!
That one guy taking the rescue board, I thought for sure it was gonna be just another yahoo taking it for giggles, but amazing that he happened to be in the right place at the right time and have the strength to paddle it out to a person in need. Hope he got a handshake and thanks from the guys who were stretched a bit too thin that day.
In my 20s I dislocated my shoulder 8 times before I finally had extensive surgery to repair the tendons and ligaments. The first dislocation is searing pain (plus some shock), but after several dislocations, the pain isn't that bad and I actually tried to manipulate my arm to try to reduce the dislocation myself...but couldn't. Also, dislocations present differently but requires a professional with two hands to guide the arm into the proper position. Literally 3 seconds and it's over...instant relief. Nerve damage isn't usually a concern.
*_Bondi Rescue..._* it's so much more than being just lifeguards... onsite EMT's... instant response crowd control... undercover police... comforters of lost children... authority figure for people old enough to know better... and when you are drowning... they will save your life...
@@BondiRescue At a minimum, most CPR and First Aid courses also help you mentally to stay calm in the event of an emergency because you are not helpless.
I tested positive for covid on Monday and it's now Thursday, this channel has single handedly kept me entertained this whole time! Great show, great people, great work. Thanks Bondi gang!
@@JBirdd11 does it help him see better? I don’t understand why the shirt has to come up…would he take his shirt off to go sit on the throne just cause he had to pull his pants down?! Lol
Why did they start blurring the injuries. We wanna see the gnarly wounds. It might make people think twice before doing dangerous things like turning your back to the ocean and playing on the rocks when surfs up

The lifeguards might have to offer him a job 😂
@@heatherwanderer777 He looked like he was born to be a lifesaver!!
love the heroism here, the thought for nothing but the safety of others. these boys go home tired, but they go home proud!
All in a day's work for the Bondi boys 💪
Much love. Watching Bondi Rescue is like watching a scooby doo, cops, and grey’s anatomy all at once. It’s my favorite.
There's a bit of everything 😂
can't stop loving Bondi and their lifeguards

i think he was trying to pop his shoulder back into the socket as a hand surgeon to limit the possibility of nerve damage

Hope you guy’s film new bondie rescue 2024😊Really love bondie rescue show and the life guards ❤
I came here to see if that guy was able to put his shoulder back in place.. I was just so sure he would.
As I posted before, it takes someone with two hands to raise the arm perpendicular to the joint, then twist the arm to "pop" it back in.
@lizhasbrouck1376 not everyone is going to see your singular comment? Lol

Yess! First time watching bondi in a while cuz I was busy with mental health stuff, always brightens my day though.
Just found Bondi Beach Rescue a week ago. What a fantastic show! I have learned so much, thank you and hello from Canada.
@@margaretwade hi from Australia 👋🏻
Love Bondi, always interesting watching how they deal with situations. They all definitely need a raise.
Give that guy an honorary lifeguard patch or something.
That sivilian who saved anther is truely a legend
Love Bondi Rescue gonna try a CPR course but man miss lifegaurd Terry RIP
Do that CPR course❤️ timely and effective CPR really makes all the difference.
CPR is always a useful skill to have! Might use it to save a life or help out the lifeguards at Bondi someday 😉

The guy at 3:53 just completely flung off and forgotten about mid “rescue”
he was "flung off" because the jet ski had gotten him out of the rip and into a safe spot to jump off. thats how they get off if they arent medical

Flat rock is covered in barnacles yet people are in bare feet jumping off it,then the lifeguards run across them in bare feet😅

Hey Mates! There a severe Lifeguard for US Beaches !!! Come on and show em how its done!!
Are there many differences between what you see on Bondi and what it's like on US beaches?
@@BondiRescue yes but it depends which beach some don’t have lifeguards a lot of the time lakes are more dangerous
Why do people keep swimming in Backpacker’s when it’s known to not be a swimming area?
Because they are newcomers who don’t pay attention to the warning signs.
@@AndrewTBP and that’s why they get themselves in trouble and get mad at the lifeguards for saving and educating them
if you don't wanna swim in a crowded spot but don't know about rips i guess

It’s not blurred on Australian TV.
