Another great video. I did try a Zulus but found it too complicated and reliant on my phone to operate, superb image but a fiddle to use/programme. I've made these comments on a few reviews and forums and recieved a personal contact from Arken, acknowleging this is a problem as there have been a large number of similar comments worldwide. They are in the process of simplifying it and doing away with the need for the phone app. The new upgraded "user friendly" Zulus will be available later this year.
Still not got round to setting it up but I want to use 5 different types of pellets so do I need to zero each type then link the profile to each 1? Tia.
@fraz172 yes mate, in the app go into parameter settings then rifle sample data and save each pellet profile (click on the pellet tab and choose which one) you will need to save different ballistic tables for each pellet and upload the one for the pellet you are using each time to the zulus👍👍 hops that makes sense pal
Hey bud. Ready to pull the trigger on this thanks to your videos. One question, can the Zulus device hold more than one bullet profile at a time? I run 300 BLK but use different brands and switch between super and sub. Want to know if i would have to go back through my phone if i decided to switch from one to the next in the same session (as i often do).
Morning pal, it can yes but you would need to send the ballistic table to it from your phone each time you swap, a 2 second job pal👍👍 if you use my link there’s a chance of a discount!👍👍👍
Stupid question mate but I take you have to set zero say on the range first before you create the ballistic table I only ask as I got mine last week created a ballistic table but had not set zero and when looking through the scope no hold over point was visible sure I read somewhere that you have to zero first then once done save as profile A or such like then that will allow me to use the B/C is that right ? Cheers Andy
Thank you for the video! Does the built in rangefinder have the incline angle compensated distance? And does the ballistic app take into account of the angle? Thanks again.
Watched your video all the way to the end, few Q's, but only a couple if you have time to answer, I do have mine and little confused. Is bullet length is the cartridge ' length or just the bullet length? And do you have any more info if you can save different guns you may mount the scope on. like a .22WMR, or 6.5 Grendel or maybe a .22-250 in the ballistic app, this is going to be a game changer, the instructions are a little to be desired I think as to explaining the Arken app and the ballistic apps. Great info on what you did cover. Thanks so much Danny , 👍👍👍👍 Oh, almost forgot, you need to save the info in the ballistic calculator and not have it on while using the regular 'Arken app, and can use it with out the app also?
Hi Danny👍👍 it’s the actual bullet length mate but you don’t really need to add it as the calibre, grain and velocity are the main things. and yes you can save different guns. Go into the “sample data” tab and where it says “rifle information” click on cartridge and call it whatever you want 👍👍 i have 2 guns saved. Thanks for watching pal, really appreciated👍👍
Custom balistic table driving me mad too. I think it's where we can save multiple balistic profiles but I can't get it working. What a piece of kit tho. Just this is frustrating.
Just what we all need a video that is done to help us all understand this optic! Great job
Cheers pal👍👍

They are very receptive to constructive criticism and act as speedily as they can to satisfy customers👍👍
I have had mine for 3 months and still cannot get the firmware updated. I am just not a young computer whizz !

Finally tried it yesterday. Nothing went right. Does different magnification affect your zero? Bc holdovers are way out compared to pellet drop.
@@fraz172 hi mate, no it shouldn’t. Have you made sure you’ve zeroed at your far zero and got the scope height spot on?
Cracking video, massive help to me thank you 👌👍👍
You’re welcome pal👍 give me a shout if you need any help and if i can i will👍👍👍
Great information m8,
Can’t wait to get 1

Yes Andy, set your zero and save the profile then do all the ballistics👍👍👍👍
@@VerminHuntersNEUK many thanks
How do you turn on Bluetooth sir
Long press the menu button (the one next to the on/off) and bluetooth is in there, select it then select on👍👍👍

Great question! Yes, i believe it does. As seen in the videos the longer range shots i take are also elevated and the BC reposition hits perfectly! 👍👍
Another very informative video.
Question how to you do custom ballistic table profiles please.
Thanks John and what a good question👍 i have no idea tbh as i’ve not used it🤣 not much help i know but i’ll have a play and get back to you👍👍
@@VerminHuntersNEUK cheers
I’ve had a play mate it’s so confusing! I can’t get it to work so i’ll make some enquiries👍👍
@VerminHuntersNEUK thanks that would be brill..I've tried aswell but with no luck.

Agreed, i’ll make some enquiries pal on how to sort it
Man the instructions suck on this optic arken could do better and military guys own the company. I do like the quality of the optic
Agreed, but play with it and it quickly becomes easy to work 👍👍
