Over the year of 2023, Disney seems to be nosediving with their “Live action remakes” while other studios are taking off to the skies with their masterpieces and originality.
That is one advantage for a giant corp like Disney falling back, it gives other smaller companies a chance to rise up. And boy are both Dreamworks and Illumination are in the right spot now.

@@owengreaves9997 Yes I did. Plot and character-wise it is a terrible film. Would have been passable if they cut out Mononoke from the film. She was pointless, arrogant, never saw the error of her ways, and was given no redeemable qualities.

Studio Ghibli is the best imo. Beautiful animation, amazing stories, and not one bad film (apart from Earwig and the Witch).
