  • This is a test of RC 1200 low impedance fuel injectors driven by a "resistor box" that can be used to operate low impedance injectors with an ECU that isn't designed for that type of injector. A resistor box can work acceptably well at the long injector pulsewidths you see when racing, but they work poorly at the short pulsewidths you see in daily driving.
Test voltage is 13 volts, which is about the lowest you would see if your alternator is working properly. This test is meant to simulate normal driving conditions. The 2.0 millisecond pulsewidth is what you would probably see with these large injectors while cruising at a steady speed.
The injector balance is not as horrible as it is in the 11 volt video, but it's not at all good. It's quite a bit worse than when these same injectors are driven by a VersaFueler under the same conditions. Be sure to watch that video!
Also watch the videos of these injectors tested with a 10 millisecond pulsewidth. You will see that they are very closely matched at that long pulsewidth, which can be misleading.
