I hate to be that guy but the tracks you listed from DKC3 were ones that David didn't do. Those were by Eveline Novakovic nee Fischer. Wise's main contribution to the music are the bonus themes, the opening music, Wrinkly's Save Cave themes, and "Brothers Bear"
Also, slight nitpick as "Mining Melancholy" was actually the name given to the track on a bootleg soundtrack (the original soundtrack somehow forgot to include it), which means that it's a fan nickname. The official title is actually "Kannon's Klaim", coming from the GBA version's soundtest, which uses the same titles as the official soundtrack

Donkey Kong soundtracks are bangin'! :D Aquatic Ambience and Stickerbrush Symphony (beautiful alliteration in those titles) are otherworldly. Proof that perfection exists in this world XD I have so many remixes of just those two saved and on CD to listen to in my car~
My family (mom, dad, younger brother) all had tons of fun playing Battletoads back when I was a kid :) Tons of frustration, and I don't think we ever beat it, but still fond memories XD
DKC is the first video game i remember playing and its an all time favorite nd yes the music is incredible and there is no bad song in the entire game. wizards and warriors 1 and 2 also has some cool tracks i liked. and i remember listening tot he over clocked remixes years ago when they came out and i actually still listen to the remix of the forest music from DKC2
I'm always surprised to find youtubers who make such high-quality videos but are so little-known. Hope to see more, especially of this series.

I'm so happy you decided to cover this topic on your channel! I do however, really wish you had covered more of his other works like Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair and Snake Pass. It also could have been interesting to cover the other composers of Impossible Lair being taken under Wise's wing to emulate his sound as much as possible going forward to continue his legacy. Regardless, I'd love to see more episodes like this! Maybe an Ecco the Dolphin 1 & 2 video could be next??
I try and focus on certain defining moments in the composer's career or one that affected me greatly :) I either do specific composers or a game series that could have multiple contributors, depends on what I focus on :P I will definitely write down your suggestion for Ecco the Dolphin! I always welcome suggestions to reign me in... too many choices at times

Also, Ecco is great! I think if you liked a lot of the DKC music you'll really like Ecco. I definitely recommend the OST from the second game, Ecco 2 The Tides of Time, more. Here's one of my favorites
