  • In this video, I show different light tests I did to better know the light dispersion and the DRL resistance with a H4 halogen headlight bulb compared with 2 types of LED headlight bulbs. I also show how I connected the tail light turn signal bulbs with resistors to avoid hipper flashing.

Loved your video. I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I installed 2 AUXITO h11 led headlight bulb on my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. I was getting an error so I got the proper decoders from AUXITO and installed them. The left headlight works perfectly but with the decoder on the right side the bulb does not turn on. I install without the decoder and the light works. I sent them an email and they sent me 2 more decoders. The problem is that the same thing happens with the 2 new decoders. Would you have any idea what would be causing this ? Would really appreciate if you have any insight. Thank you.

The electronic smart junction box provides the current to 4 different wires that go to the HI and LOW headlamp bulbs.
If the right side LED headlight bulb works without a CAN Bus decoder, Maybe there is a short to ground in the right circuit that increases the amount of current close to normal tungsten filament condition with your LED headlight installed without a CAN Bus decoder.
A short to ground condition combined with the added current used by the CAN Bus decoder could trigger an abnormal signal in the smart junction box and turn this circuit off for protection.
In this case, I would inspect the integrity of the electrical wiring and the connectors.
I can be wrong, but, I found a problem similar to this a long time ago on a vehicle I inspected.
      Good luck!
