I don’t do TB, but I do order from a couple other vendors that offer loaf size wax. I chop my wax all at once and always store in a cellophane bag. I don’t notice a loss of scent. I think the cellophane bags are the key to keeping the scent strong. Hope that helps.
Hollow Harvest, Berry Good Pumpkin, Red Delicious, Apple Spice Season will all be added to my club. I do not chop waxes unless it won't fit in a warmer, so when I do chop, it is to use at that moment. I stopped using all vendor waxes except for Lavender & Speckles and The Melt Stash.
I haven’t noticed a difference between chopping/not chopping - so I usually chop for convenience sake. The stuff I keep whole I’ve found some get better some weaken, same as most things. I’d have expected Cashmere Bubble Bath to age well though with the woodsy cashmere notes! I wonder if sometimes it’s just batch variations because I’ve had some scents where I got multiples (TeddyBees and other vendors) and they’re different side by side even though they’re the same scent.
I think that’s true Robyn… I definitely get that with Scentsy bars…pumpkin roll being the worst example for me. I appreciate the wax u sent… I was just not sure why not very strong in comparison…💕💕💕
I haven't noticed a substantial difference between chopping versus leaving whole. I don't really like chopping wax, so if I chop something I am going to use it up that day, or fairly quickly. I'm not one of those people who can chop a whole bunch of wax at one time, so I much prefer to chop as I am going to use.

My favorite wax of all time is Yankee candle Mistletoe! In a flash sale I bought a bundle of wax that included Sweet Orange and Evergreen. When I smelled I said to my husband, "Oh my goodness it is mistletoe!" Thanks for another great video!
@@elizabethsscenesscents When you read the scent notes for both, they don't seem to have much in common. Years back I broke down and bought an artificial Christmas tree. This scent replaced the real tree. Warming that scent certainly did the trick. It was heavenly!
They seem very much your scent profile. I can’t quit melting the Spiced and Spirited! I love spicy, woods, and bakery so much! Smokey and deep and earthy… sign me up! 💕🍁
Yeah…. I’ve watched your videos enough to see that being true! My house has 13 full size and 5 mini warmers active at the moment( more when I start pulling out the whole pumpkin patch I’ve got stored away😂😉🎃) … if I put a TB loaf’s wax in them all… I’d still only use 1/2 of one loaf…typically I go through 2 or 3 scentsy bars a day. I also love to pair different scents. The throw varies depending on whose wax I’m using though. Teddy Bees lasts a long time because you dont need a ton of wax in any given warmer.
I chop as I go for most wax; I have a large collection and I find that it is messier and more bulky if I chop it all up. I don’t know if it impacts oil leach in any way, but I feel the less surface area exposed the better it ages? No idea if true or not, but it is my story and I am sticking to it 😂
I’ve been melting vendor wax since 2016 and I’ve had no problems with wax losing its scent if I cut it up. Now, if I know I’m not going to use it till the next year I just leave it whole. But, for the things I have cut up it hasn’t seemed to make a difference with performance for me.

I chop a whole loaf and depending on my mood, I might double bag it or not. However I also can use a whole loaf in a sitting 😂

I think similarly/ the less surface are exposed seems safer to me.
I am so bummed that Scentsy got rid of Apple Cherry Strudel, I know it is a one day performer but it is beautiful, I clubbed it but it's not the same
