3:50 The first color tv of my home. Same model shown in the ad. That remote was detachable, worked as cordless or fixed controller. Speakers were covered to protect from dust. Had component inputs in the back. Also, that empty area below the remote is a cover. It opened to expose the frequency tuner.

Thanks for watching Ujas. Right now I do not have any collection of VCR images. In case I find, will definitely make a video. Mujhe kushi hey ki ye video aapko purane dinom ki yaad dilayi.
wow....amazing collection sir...you took me to my childhood ...the days we would walk into a shop and would be handed over pamplets like these with price....very very nostalgic. We had ECtv (mfg by electronics corp of India) and later Bush and then LG....
Thanks, Sajith for watching and the comment. It is nice to know that you had Dyanora TV. Our first TV was Solidaire. Yes, those days were exciting and will never come back.
Hi Alok, thanks for watching. Optonica was in my collection but somehow missed to add here. Also, I have included only those on television whose pictures were there in my magazine collections. Will try to create the second part of this video if I come across the missing televisions. Meanwhile, if you would like to see how print ads were in old times, please check ua-cam.com/video/3GftMJ9idpQ/v-deo.html.
Thanks to Chinese Consumer Electronics that we can afford wide range of 4k Uhd's with newer technologies at reasonable rates. Back then around 80's it wud cost a hefty amount to buy a color TV Set.
Great work sir. This is a thread to mention brands we recall from the 80s and is missing here, digiana, ectv, konark, televijay, Orson, Weston, uptron, Sony, Enfield, etc to name a few. Feel free to add the brands you recall people.
Thanks for watching the video and adding the television names. I have heard about Weston and Sony. But haven't heard about others. Also, I uploaded the TV images from my magazine collections.

Jayakumar N very true ... is it because we are growing old ...or was there really something about those days ? Usually people of any generation say their childhood days / growing days were golden times of their life .. this is what I have been hearing from people of all generations. And we also feel nostalgic about our childhood times... and dislike today’s life .. so wondering if it’s gonna be the same thing for today’s kids ...when they look back to this / last decade after 20-30 yrs.. they’d feel nostalgic about today’s times .. I guess
@@cosmictruth3600 I believe so. Certain times I feel that when everything is complicated and you have more choices then you can feel bored. e.g. During those days we never had many television channels. We had to wait for programs like Chitrahaar, and other regional programs for music. Now when you have hundreds of channels both on television and online, you will end up simply browsing and confused about what to watch.
Just what I was searching for Really loved it I would like to see more newspaper advertisements by television manufacturers, in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, early 2000s Especially there was a full page newspaper advertisement by TCL tv showing what are all the components inside their TV set
Takes you to a time far far far more beautiful than today
Yes, those good days. Thanks for watching.
