Everyone talks about George Michael being the best British pop vocalist, but you try and sing a Culture Club song like George does, his voice is actually stellar and I've thought so for nearly 40 years. His voice is stand out in the Band Aid song, just gives you chills.
They are both named George tho 🤔 seriously though I love them both but George Michael and boy George aren't in the same class. Both good for completely different reasons

With its infectious melody and colorful lyrics, the song is an anthem of acceptance and self-expression. Boy George's distinctive voice adds a unique charm, making it impossible not to sing along. It's a timeless classic that continues to bring joy and energy to listeners of all ages. 🌈🎶

90s to 00s metal and rap were good as well, but the 90s was when rock started falling off, which is something people tend to ignore. While rap was declining, and pop was rising, you got metal and solid rap.
I was in 9th grade and loved Culture Club. I had no idea than what a lot of the lyrics meant and didn’t care. I just know that Boy George is a part of my 80’s experience and I wouldn’t change one bit of my life at that time. It was glorious time and I miss it terribly ❤🙏

When I was younger, my mum had a really old car that had a cassette player and I will always remember this song specifically on a yellow cassette amongst other hits. My sister and I would sit in the back and sing along, as well as my friend would join in when she heard it. Absolute banger!
What too say too the grammar police. Look it up on ZeFrank's channel, just so you can tell me where to put my comma. Anyhow, it's My sister and I. This song will for me always evoke the hot, sunny summer of 1983 that I spent working on an archaeological dig in a field in rural Carmarthenshire. It's surprising to think that 40 years have now passed since that time, as it doesn't seem like it was so long ago. Time flies and life is short.
I did. It was hard work, and I discovered aching muscles where I didn't even know I had muscles, but I soon developed a suppleness and level of fitness that I hadn't had, and haven't had since! I like how each decade and generation has it's own style of music as it allows it to stand aside from other decades and generations in the future. People in 30/40 years or longer will look back on music of the 2000s 2010s and 2020s as people look back on music from 30,40,50 years ago.

80s was such a great decade for music. No decade has such great collections like that of the 80s
70s were pretty good too..
70s and 60s was also realy. The begin of the end was Britney Spears I think I can't listen to modern music.
90s to 00s metal and rap were good as well, but the 90s was when rock started falling off, which is something people tend to ignore. While rap was declining, and pop was rising, you got metal and solid rap.

I disagree, the 70s were superior

Yes this is intended as a joke, and you really should look up that video, it is hilarious. Sadly, my grammar is no longer alive to make me cookies any more. I miss her.

This song will for me always evoke the hot, sunny summer of 1983 that I spent working on an archaeological dig in a field in rural Carmarthenshire. It's surprising to think that 40 years have now passed since that time, as it doesn't seem like it was so long ago. Time flies and life is short.
