Great video. I’m trying POE1 just to understand the interface and some of the concepts. I really have struggled with gems and how they are used in weapons and armor. The POE2 system, on the surface, seems much easier to use.
Take this with a grain of salt because I've never played poe but I think I heard item sockets are permanent but skill and support sockets for skills can be swapped around as much as you want for free. And you can make multiple characters.
so each class can have two weapons, but each weapon can have multiple abilities or affects up to nine, is this right, all new to me so just trying to get my head around it
Keep up the great tutorials. I am POE veteran but I need help like this.
Thank you so much!
Appreciate this type of vid. Gonna be coming from d4 trying poe game for the 1st time. Very helpful. 👊🏾
@@GotchaOpenGaming thank you!

@@tharrigan5661 it will be a little easier and more user friendly.
Newbie questions - Can you create multiple characters like in d4? Does it cost to socket unsocket gems? Or is it permanent?
Yes you can create a bunch. In Poe 1 there was no cost to socketing gems or unsocket gems. I’m not sure if there will be a cost in Poe 2

Good informative video
@@hdmf0481 I appreciate it !
So in Poe2, support gems do not increase the mana cost? I don't see any mana cost multiplier.
@@GG-jg6py Im going to assume it will increase mana cost but I haven’t officially seen that anywhere yet
