Lovely update Helen even though you were feeling under par. Hope you're better now. Ship looks fabulous (and so do you and the lovely Rob!) Interesting point about the smaller cruise ships maybe feeling the motion a bit more than the massive ones. We used to live overlooking Belfast Lough and although it was lovely to see the big cruisers coming in, I felt they were just too big and nothing would coax me onto one! Loved the chilled out hippos!! Get well soon. ❤
Hi Helen, thank you for update….remember the staff being fantastic on Azamara. Looking lovely, as always and trust you are over your sea sickness now. Only felt sick on the cruise we were on for our 50th Anniversary in 2018 and thought I was going to die! 🏴xx
Lovely to see what you have been doing on the cruise. Looks super. Horrible getting sea sick. I seem to get my sea legs really quickly but then when I go into port I feel like I’m kind of rocking and feel sick on land. I’m like that for about a week after the cruise too. Does anyone else get that or is it just me 🤔🤔 looking forward to Part 3. X
Hi Helen , we were on N C L in Port Elizabeth at the same day as you. Now in Cape Town. Flying home late Saturday. Loving the weather and cruise. Enjoy the rest of you cruise. We are obviously doing the cruise the opposite way around. We loved our 3 days at the start of our trip in Mauritius. Hope you soon feel better.xx Pauline Milner. Watch your you tube at home in York. 💕xx
Hi Helen. So pleased your cruise is going so well and you’re enjoying everything. The service on board sounds such an improvement on your last venture to the Far East- I imagine it makes all the difference. You are lucky to visit such magical places and continue to have a lovely time. Hope you get over your sea sickness.❤️🥰
Nice to hear that the service is still as good as ever, it was before covid the last time we went on the Journey. Sorry to hear you felt sea sick I’m prone to that as well on smaller ships unfortunately. Lovely photos looks like you’ve had a great time something different for sure. I aways keep moleskin plasters in my holiday bag as I once got a bad blister and somebody recommended I buy them. X
Hi Helen , you still look fabulous even through the seasickness, every outfit has been gorgeous, and those silver sandals will go with everything. Thanks so much for sharing it's lovely for some of us, who can't travel to participate a bit. Loved the video of the pilot.
Oh dear…I get every type of motion-sickness one can experience. Airplane, cars, trains, boats. Not fun. Here’s hoping as I watch, you are back in your lovely home and the world is not topsy turvy. Thank you for sharing all of the sights. XX
Hi Helen. Hope you're feeling better. It's a horrible feeling. On our first cruise it was force 11 gale all the way to Madeira. I didn't leave the cabin for 3 days with motion sickness. Fab photos. Where are all the other passengers on the ship xx
Hi H sounds like the stabilisers need to work a bit harder! Back in the very early 70s my hubby was on a warship up & down between Mozambique & Africa. Was called the Beira Patrol - not nice protecting from war & pirates. No one enjoyed that. Glad yours is much nicer & enjoyable. Ship looks lovely. C U soon x PS your "sofa" is just a snuggle chair i think.
Hi Helen, wow the cruise looks amazing. Sorry to hear that you have been unwell. The photos look amazing. Very nice indeed. Have a brilliant time, take care xx
Oh Helen sounds like your cruise is amazing. So glad it’s more enjoyable than the previous cruise. Rob looks to be enjoying himself. Sorry to hear you are unwell. Stay safe take care. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the update Helen, the cruise sounds amazing, love the photos, you look so lovely, its such a shame suffering from motion sickness, a horrible feeling, im not good on boats! Look forward to part 3, have a good week 😊💕💕
Glad you’re feeling better, and your blister. They are so painful. The restaurants look good and great there is plenty of room everywhere to sunbathe and get seats x
Sea sickness not nice, go and get an anti sea sick plaster from the medical bay worked a treat for my friend. I can see the curtains moving from the roll of the ship - not good. Only you know your sandals are the wrong ones, everyone else thinks they are okay. I’m with you on buffets, everyone breathing over the food and not everyone washes their hands … You are looking rested and the blue dress really suits you. 🎉
HB you are so good taking time to share. I never felt movement on a smaller Seaborn boat around the Carribean. But I can even on a coach feel bad so have great empathy with you. The headache is part of it I think.take care x
Brought back lovely memories of the Oyster box which I visited about 44 years ago with my mum dad and sister (who have all passed). In those days it had a lot of garden rooms for accommodation spread over the grounds. Beautiful
Lovely to catch up with you...hope your feeling better, Helen 😊 Thank you for sharing your photographs while you're on your travels. Enjoy the rest of your trip. 😊❤
Gorgeous hippos nuisance about the sea sickness happens to me every time hope you soon feel better your hair is looking lovely by the way looking forward to the next episode 😘 xx
Hello Gorgeous, I am only half way through but wanted to say that I hv seen on YT shorts, medical folks sniff Alcohol wipes..Lotion to take away Nausea...not sure if any on board. We Love you so much. I feel its going to get better. The whole holiday is about The Journey. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
