Thank You 🤩 this is the quick & easy to understand tutorial that I will watch again and again, every time I’m going to try to smear some paint on a face.
Good timing D - I paint Orks and got faces down for that, but now I’m going for actual flesh tones and eyes that aren’t red and I always end up hell thicc with paint. Awesome tutorial 🤙🏼
Love it! the list of tools and paints used at the start is a great idea for anyone looking to emulate your techniques. I hate painting faces, hands aren't steady enough for the eyes lol
Thanks mate! 🍻 Don’t ever use the spray varnish from Citadel, it ruined some of my Phoenix Guards 🥲 Everyone I talk to uses an airbrush for it. Vince Ventuella has a good tutorial on it 👍
Thank you! 🙌 I don’t mind the army painter brushes as they aren’t too expensive and do the job well. The precise detail brush made by them is my go to for faces and eyes. The 00 is a cheaper brush called Golden Maple 😊 I hope that helps!
@@anvilofdoomminiatures Thanks. I’m in the start pit with a High Elves army I recently got my hands on. Previous owner passed away and his mom wanted me to have his box of minis. I say no first but she kept pushing I should take otherwise they gonna throw it. I never met her son, but i have told myself I should finish what he started mid 90s. But man, the details are crazy small, I have been watching your elves vids and I might get an expensive premium brush for all tiny details. Cheers
I'm painting a bunch of dwarves for a Kings of Way army right now and every time I start painting I hear that intro synth and drum machine in my head.
Haha I hope the jingle gets you motivated mate!
Great video as always Diet! There can never be enough Oldhammer content
Thanks mate! 🙌🍻😊
Big Fan of your Painting Style and Illustrations. Keep up the good work 🎉
Thanks mate! I appreciate it 🙌🍻
Ace , thanks for sharing

No worries mate! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with those faces 🍻🙌😊
That's why I predominantly collected Undead 😂

Good stuff. Your videos are fun
Cheers dude! I’m glad you’re enjoying them so far 🙌🍻
Looks cool.
Thanks mate! 🍻
So you use some kind of magnifying glass when painting the eyes ?
Maybe it doesn’t help ?
Nice!
Thanks dude!

Thanks dude! 🤝🍻 Haha eyes are a nightmare to do! I feel your pain 🥲
Great tutorial! Would you consider doing similar tutorials for different tones, like dark skin, or dead skin?
Thank you! 🍻 Definitely! I’ll work on putting together a few recipes for different skin tones and colours in the coming months 😊
You know, it says Pall*i*d right on the bottle. 😼
Whoops! 🥲
Excellent video. Can we talk varnish? I need to know how to seal my metal mini paint jobs without ruining it all

What is the formula you used on the blond hair, if its not too much trouble?
Take a look at Juan Hildago’s blonde hair video :) it’s a great tutorial and I used it for this guy.
Nice tutorial. May I ask what’s your favorite brush brand atm? And which 00 brush were you using?

Take some else’s face. Shrink. Superglue to model
Why didn’t I think of that?!
