You make a good point about writing slower. It also helps to bring out the best in your ink, allowing less saturated inks to shade. It also helps the feed to keep up and prevents railroading.
Good afternoon from Spain. I have seen her channel and I have subscribed. I have two Coklin Duragraph fountain pens with Omniflex F nib. They write well but the nib flex is poor. For me it is a bit hard and I am worried about forcing it for fear that it will break
Does the Omniflex nib flex? Yes but as you pointed out, not a very flexible nib unless you add more pressure. Are there other nibs that work better? Yes, but at their price point, it is a worthy contender.
Will be getting a Conklin Duragraph with Omniflex very soon, it will be my first Conklin and am looking forward to writing with the Omniflex.

Looks like the FPR flex nibs have more line variation. That doesn’t mean the Omniflex is bad, but it’s something to note
