What gorgeous projects! I just love the Nightingale colors you chose! Your Blackbird piece for Stitch North is amazing on that fabric…someone is going to be very lucky to have it!
Hayley, lovely to see you tonight. Love your stitching. I am itching to start my MFE SAL. I have to wait till we get to the UK to pick up my fabric. In the meantime I've been stitching the Alternate Trees on different fabrics just to get a feel of the pattern. I've been using the suggested DMC threads but I'm debating changing to different threads. The Song of the Nightingale is beautiful. Shame you weren't feeling so well when you had that meal. Really does sound like an experience. Hope you get lots of stitching done in March. Best wishes from 🇮🇪
Hi Hayley! The TGA sampler is beautiful! I love your Song of the Nightingale, too! Yay, great colors for Reaching Skyward! I hear you on the Dimensions kits. I was cleaning out my basement a few weeks ago and found a Bucilla kit I definitely am not going to finish. It’s a small one so I need to decide if I should keep it in the hopes one my daughters might want to do it someday as a learning project or just throw it away. I’ll probably keep it for a while longer, just in case.
You have some beautiful projects going. If you don't want to continue on the Dimensions project, you could always have what you have done so far made into something such as a needlebook, pillow or outside of a project bag.
Song of a Nightingale is so beautiful! Are the floss the called for colors? Tastes do change, don't they? I used to do the Dimension kits also. I have a kit that is 3/4 done and it's on aida. I should just pull on the big girl panties and do it! Your stitching is beautiful 😍
