Lots to unpack in this video! The soft tube is a definite No NO!!! or you will have an "Oh O". I must have missed your other video on kitchen cabinet build. What wood and stain is the counter top? It has a mahogany look and warm glow! Thanks for putting your videos out for us all to learn from.
It’s walnut! I have a video on how I built it. And definitely a no no on the soft tube. I got the recommendation from another UA-cam channel… oh well. Live and learn!
This is the video I wish I saw 6 months ago. I underestimated how difficult the plumbing in my build. I spent many mind numbing trips to home depot finding the right fitting.
How were you able to get the shark bite and even drain to fit through and seal to the threaded water tanks? I'm noticing that neither fit directly into it, did you have to cut away at the hole in the cap of the water tank to get it to fit in?
So I’ve watched this video before but had to again because I just installed a pump in my 144 sprinter and it seems pretty loud. I see yours is maybe a little quieter, but I think that’s just maybe these pumps in general… idk 🤷🏼♂️. Anyway, kind of hard to stealth camp ⛺️ with my pump. My wife said she heard it in the house in her office.

Really appreciate all your videos, they’ve helped me a ton. I installed a similar setup with regards to the hoses and Home Depot fittings. With this setup, have you ever noticed some almost metallic/rubbery/chemical smelling water with white aerated foam coming out for just only 10 seconds or so when you first pump water after it’s been sitting for a day? I’m having that issue, and it’s only the water that’s been in the lines, not the tank (like it doesn’t start smelling/tasting weird til 2-3 seconds after running my faucet and that stops after maybe 10 seconds of running it) And I’ve tasted my water off my tank’s drain valve, tastes and smells fine. The water in my tank tastes fine, but something in my shurflo pump, accumulator, all these vinyl hoses or metal fittings, or faucet is making it taste/smell off briefly each time… Idk 😂 maybe back to the drawing board on this one for me
Yooo also… just realizing that braided vinyl hose from Home Depot is not rated for potable water use. Not sure if that’s related to what I’m dealing with
Hey Colton! I bought literally everything from the description of your video and just finished installing the sink and faucet. I need help in understanding how you installed the sharkbites and also the hose from the drain into the grey water. At the beginning of the video all you show is them already installed. I’m confused on how to install the shark bites and the drain hose. Thank you!

hey Colton, thanks for the great video... just wondering, do you know if the pump, when not pumping but still powered up, draws a small current? Maybe it does because it's always sensing for pressure, but maybe that pressure sensing is purely mechanical. I'm trying to avoid phantom loads... if the pump draws power when not in use, I'll locate the switch in a real convenient location. Otherwise, I'll put the switch in a cabinet.
Do you think the switch for the pump was necessary? You mentioned later in the video that the pump turns on and off with the water. Could you just wire the pump directly to the fuse block?
Hi Colton! How did you get that Valved Bulkhead Panel Mount Hose Barb into/through the jerry can cap. Did you drill it out? If so, do you remember the size hole?
Hi, It really isn't that loud in person. I think its just the way the microphone picked it up. I noticed it was really loud when editing it too. its especially not that loud when all the cabinet doors are closed. Good question!
Hey what did you use to connect to the blue jug fresh water? Did you have an adaptor/fitting that then connected to a pex tube that went to the bottom of the clean water tank?
Oooh I can’t seem to find anything to fit my reliance/aqua tainer spout to put a quick disconnect bulkhead fitting. I thought you had the same fresh water jug but maybe it’s different. Can you link me to the jug you used?
