I had the chance to see them live twice in 82 French tour, this band was unique in those years
In those years, before and a little after until "Wish", yes, I do agree.
Arguably, the best version of this song ever played. The guitar makes the hair on the back of my neck stand!
Favorite Cure song and this version is magnificent, completely captures the feel of it
i love the way they drag the cords out between 32 and 35 what a drag
My favourite recording of this song
The Cure - this must be their signature song. Claustrophobic and haunting version, this one, perfect in every way I say.
Arguably the most depressing version of the most depressing Cure song. Extremely powerful and emotional song.
@Dustin Void Faith is one of the most melancholic cure songs, but Siamese Twins is just soul crushing anger, regret, and depression all bundled up into one song. The whole Pornography album is in a league of its own, and the live performances somehow make these songs even bleaker than they already are.
@Dustin Void It’s obviously a very subjective opinion. Very hard to pick what Cure songs from this era are the most depressing because well, almost all of them are. Robert Smith was not in a good place during this time and it shows through the art he was creating. His only escape from depression, touring fatigue, drugs, and alcohol was music.
serious version of this, slower pace, great tone on Rob's guitar
Saw them on this tour, weird scary concerts
QUINTEN! DIERICK! Lucky bastard. This is my favorite period for the Cure. Ive spent the last 30 years of my life tracking down live shows from this tour. I got a lot if them. This show, lyon, paris, and neu Issenberg are the best quality so far
it was the good time...
Theres always one
Wow... this version is even more desolate than the studio version.
Only The Cure can create such songs of depth and genuine darkness... it is not even the manufactured mopey tracks that you would normally hear in the name of Goth music. It is as if they were almost living these experiences or expressing their outrage at the world gone banal and vile (which I think was more of the case with each of the tracks, especially the title track) This is a seriously disturbing song from a scary album ('Pornography'). Not a single death metal band can touch this album in scale and scope. The real finale of this album is about wanting to escape and to find the cure in the midst of all the madness and vulgarity. Light at the end of the dark tunnel, so to speak. This is actually The Cure's real masterpiece along with 'Faith'.
Darkness sing, but good and I' am very positive feling...
Janos, sad songs make me happy and happy songs make me sad. I find light in the dark.
Darkness
Quite different, even more dense...
Hate it when worms eat my skin wish Alex wild would build us all our own shelter to run away
Quem está hear THIS music in 2024?
