OPD means the regular doctor visits for general medicine, or other doctors?
Does opd cover the pharmacy cost and lab tests also? In many cases I can see OPD only covers doctor consultation
Modern Treatments are covered upto 1 lac . As medical Science have been advanced , covergae of 1 lac for Robotic surgeries / Modern Treatment is not at all acceptable. This is the most drawback of all Niva Bupa Policy

I have 02 questions
1.Could you pls amplify on the waiting period on maternity. As it is said that waiting period is 24months, does it mean the lady can concieve and claim benefits of the policy after 24months have elapsed from the issue of the policy ?
2. Does the policy insurer need to be informed about the claiming benefits beforehand.. as in if we want to claim maternity benefits in May 2025, we need to inform the insurer right now ?
