Appreciate this underrated (IMO) channel and your willingness to share the knowledge with everyone, helped me and I’m sure a lot of others improve a bunch. Mad props 🗣
So I've been following you for a little bit now, on my personal account (this one) and my producer account (not to be mentioned at the moment, not looking for plugs LMAO) and I have never really commented on ANY videos before. I did want to comment just to say thank you for all that you do/done with your channel. Always seemed to put things into terms that personally for me are better understood. It's evident that you do have a vast knowledge of music theory (least greater than my own for sure), but you seem to be able to move the theory aside and still be comprehensive without a mind overload. I don't know if that is because I know a LITTLE music theory already or you have just made it easier for my brain to digest, but I do want to say thank you. This video in particular, with the hot-cold theory, really hit home for me. I have heard of seeing the music in colors before and have tried (very little try, extreme ADHD). I am also a very logical thinker and that made the color theory tough for me. Then the matrix hit. Morpheus (hope I am not offending) then gave me a simple solution... Blue pill or Red pill... Not only did this register in my mind quickly, but I also didn't do like I usually do and start a new track to work on what I learned (bi-product of ADHD lol) I actually finished off a track that I worked on days ago and finished it... Now I am really excited to work on new material. I even got Lil bro to comment on my track and say that it sounded a lot cleaner than other tracks. This all with no effort in mixing really at all. Again thank you and keep up the great work... Some followers just want to make music that they, themselves can enjoy ;)
This man is one of the best out here! We need a video on arranging the more simple beats! I feel like it easier when you have 3 or 4 layers of sound but with only 2 layers how do we really differentiate between hooks and verses?
So fire bro thank you for explaining it the way you did I have been working on my.sound selection and this just made it 10 times easier for me to figure it out, could you do another one down the road with other instrument examples? I playlists this one for my future reference!
My bad for these questions lol but what’s the point of layering sounds? I get you said it’s different tampers but I saw in one video you did the entire melody with one instrument (chords, bassnotes, mid melody and high melody) then you put everything with its own instrument is this still your structure? Or since your so advanced you know what’s needed bc that way made a ton of sense to me. I just don’t know if I’m working harder not smarter you know
I hate when people use that style of harmonies, its like everybody on youtube uses it and it never goes anywhere in the industry anyways lol but good video anyways
I will only like the video if you don't have that God awful iPhone notification sshit in it. That shit is desperate and annoying af, i hate phone sounds and you think that I will sub and like for that? Lmao
