    Hey Tanner, I just watched all 3 parts of the West Coast Nationals vlogs and I think you did well. Looking forward to your sprint car vlogs over the year. By the way, Brexton Busch still can't stop winning: he won the season opener at Millbridge last week, finished 6th on Saturday after spinning and won the season opener at Mountain Creek last night. Still waiting on his dad to get a win but I say it'll happen this week at Richmond

      Brexton is a wheelman. Can’t believe how fast he is progressing

    Good races learned a lot . It looked like it was lazy engine wise or no traction , went around the corners but when it hit the straight away's it fell on it nose . But over all a good winter season !!!!......See at the Lake ...............

    Tanner I'm looking to get into outlaw kart racing can you give me some tips for getting started. I am 13 and I just wanna know what I should be looking at...as in what size kart..

    You're definitely a great driver Tanner, there's no doubt about that, but I notice your other team mates having some what of an edge also. How much of the 'winningness' if I may coin a word, is down to the Factory QRC recipe? Also are there any other drivers/teams with F/QRC you are competing with?
    Thanks and good luck with the season ahead man. 👍

      No doubt being in the best equipment helps. But everyone now a days in karts has really nice stuff. Everything on our Factory Karts can be bought. Nothing is special. Factory karts are put on track to represent the company and therefore sell more cars. Now I would be lying if I said we don't have the most resources as far as knowledge, parts, and everything since QRC sells it. But for us, these guys just put so much into the program and Landon and I have tons of experience!

      @@TannerHolmes Thanks for the details Tanner, but is it only your team that races the QRC equipment? I'm trying to gage just how much their contribution effects the results. Cheers.

      @@skepticusmaximus184 I would say over 75% of the karts in my class our QRC karts. QRC alone has over 90% of the market share of the karting world in the US. Top top notch!

      @@TannerHolmes Then I'd have have to hand it to you. The vast majority of the reason you are up in front so much is the driving/team even though as you say Factory QRC count. If most everyone else is driving their stuff, then you and your team are the difference between wannabe and winner. 🍺😉👍

    I'm ignorant when it comes to outlaw carts. How much of a disadvantage is it to be larger and heavier than the majority of the drivers?

    • @TannerHolmes
      @TannerHolmes  2 роки тому

      There is a weight rule. So everyone at minimum has to be 450 with kart and driver. Most small drivers will add 20-50 lbs just to make weight. My kart has 0 lead. I’m 175 and I’m about 10 lbs over the limit

  • @deanbanks3392

    Your Kart just didn't have the speed needed to win. A podium finish is respectable, winning is better.
