the guy covered with grease and seen working on cars was jimmy cane , he was my neighbor. i remember him sitting on the stoop with my mother drinking a budweiser from a brown paper bag, cigarettes rolled up in his sleeve ,his hair would be perfectly combed. he was the definition of old school.
Yes they are, it's a shame what happened to most of them. According to one of the girls in the pictures, most of them ended up hooked on drugs and died young.

Gangster Disciple, Almighty GayLords etc. We had Immortal Dragons in BK. Lower East side had Latin Souls. You can see them in Maroon colors in the Gil Scott Heron video called the Bottle💯
