Such a tragic early death. Jóhann's music was getting better and better, and now we and him, have been deprived of a few decades of his beauty and creativity.

One of the most innovative composers of our generation. Johannsson's own words about death, transitions, and the underworld resonate with such powerful melancholy after his passing. His music will transcend time and live on.
This new album is absolutely beautiful. I was very fortunate to see the live performance last week and it's stuck in my head. I don't want it to leave.

I don't know what it is, but there has been so much wonderful music coming out of Iceland for years now. I guess when you live in a country that is so beautiful, with so many diverse geographical elements, songwriters can get plenty of inspiration...
