Absolutely, but if you rewatch the past episodes, it was only brought up after he accused her of drinking too much. It was her way of making a point that she wasn't okay that type of question or accusation. Was it the correct way to prove her point, ABSOLUTELY NOT. From what I'm seeing is they BOTH have communication issues and aren't understanding each other, which makes the situation worse.
Meanwhile she was asked about his mother's and step father's doubts and rather than say you know what as his parents I csn see their concern because every parent would...no Lindsay eye rolled and refused to comment. Really you think it's mature to behave like a petulant child because his parents questioned the relationship. @Lisammifsud something I practice with every human being no matter how awkward, is guiding people down the right path. One of my best friends was having an affair, and while everyone else was cheering her on, I had to tell her why this was wrong. It put a strain on our friendship, but that's ok. The point I'm trying to make is if you were raised right MOST of the time, you behave right. In Lindsey's case it seems she hasn't had much guidance or she's testing people. I don't know like I said, this is my opinion
I agree👍, unfortunately Lindsey will not appreciate it. Gabby is her only allied in the house, sadly, she’s being used, so that Lindsey can have connection to the show. I simply don’t trust anyone(Lindsey), who can turn-on a loyal friend (Danielle) of 16 years, because she express concerns about you moving too quickly in your relationship. Lindsey will continue to sabotage her relationships until she seek help and change.

I'm glad Carl's mother and stepfather gave him advice. The advice came at the right time, just in time. Lindsay is such a manipulator! I hate to see how she manipulates each of her subsequent boyfriend so that he does everything the way it suits her. It gets to the point where all her boyfriends start to be afraid of her. They are afraid to say an extra word to her, so that she will not be offended. She loves to make herself look like a victim and constantly find fault with her boyfriends. Lindsay perceives and treats her boyfriends, in this case, the fiance, not as the most wonderful person in the world, whom she wants to put on a pedestal, but as a thing that she bought and this thing should work 100% for her. Lindsay squeezes all the juices out of her boyfriends until they start running away from her. This is not love. Love is when you love your fiance the way he is, and you don't constantly try to find fault with him. Apparently Lindsay won't understand this.
As the episodes continue to air, Lindsay getting caught lie after lie and watching the show back, she still hasn’t taken any accountability…which is ridiculously sad. You have to choose your partners wisely or you’ll end up miserable or worse…dead. You dodged a bullet!!
My take is that Lindsay felt Carl distancing himself and that something was changing. But bc she has SEVERE abandonment issues she has no idea how to reach out and instead lashes out and gets angry. She can’t access that compassion or empathy for someone else and be able to figure out. What she does instead is fight and scream because she’s panicking that he’s moving away from her. TLDR: Linds needs therapy and not a boyfriend

Carl's said his addiction is alcohol, coke etc (i dont need to list them) and he has removed them from his life because he lacks impulse control to not over indulge. People can manage to smoke weed which is legal in most states and not go beyond. The fact he can sit at dinner surrounded by loads of alcohol, everyone drinking and rationally know he cant just have 1 drink shows self awareness, maturity, self actualisation and a conscious understanding of his triggers and weak spots. Lindsay getting wasted, combative, argumentative and picking fights in her 30s is damn embarrassing. If i was Carl and had to listen to her drunk accuse me of not being sober...he had a lot more restraint that i would. Obviously i don't her, i only see what is shown on tv and ive seen her on a few podcasts. She was asked about the clip of Carl's mum and step dad. Her reaction was shall we say indicative of her behaviour on the show. She was clearly offended, dismissive and eye rolled that his step dad wasnt in favour of the marriage. Danielle questioned her speed/rush to get engaged resulting in their fall out, Carls parents had doubts. Bottom line is if you dont get on board the Lindsay express she wont be happy. Im no psychologist but i wonder if Lindsay's dad caved into everything she demanded as a kid and never gave her a reality check.
Poor Carl you want to know something I lived with an alcoholic when our daughter turned one I said you need to pick alcohol or a family. He chose the family stopped drinking and I never touched a drop of alcohol. It's not that hard if you love someone
If Carl loves that girl he shoulda helped her get clean and sober too and step up with his career. They were happy when she was clean, she's a mean drunk, everybody knows that, she always helped him and this was his time to help her but instead he abandoned and humiliated her
No one an help someone get sober except the person abusing substances. If they could there be very few addicts. Love, caring and support only helps when the person first decides that nothing is more important in their life than sobriety. Lindsay is no where close to choosing that.
We see a tiny fraction of their life so how in the world can anyone know if he tried or not. My point is, “helping” doesn’t help. I have lived this. My daughter was addicted to alcohol and every drug like he was, only worse as she was an IV user too. Nothing I did ever helped. As I learned in AlAnon and from my now sober daughter, nothing I did could work because it is 1000% up to the addict. Love doesn’t cure addiction. I also know because I have 14 year of sobriety. I’ve lived this on both sides. People can encourage you but the only way to stop is for the addict to decide to commit to sobriety and not let anything get in the way of that commitment.
The house needs Gabby. So glad she’s back on my screen. She’s sensible in her approach and she’s aesthetically pleasing. Sis is a vibe and never a pick me for the guys in the house.
Most of her screentime consists of her counseling Lindsay and being a mediator. She certainly is a voice of reason at times but she kind of has a limited role. So far there hasn't been any of the guys remotely interested in her romantically so that dating side hasn't really been shown either. But perhaps later on this season there will be more.
Lindsay said to west, i heard you and Ciara made out. Then says to Ciara, i heard you and west made out. Like west was talking about it. But she is the one who went to him and asked, not the other way around. Seems shady like she is trying to cause a prob.
Kyle still trying to stay relevant on the show. Brandi called her out years ago on her marriage and she tried to blame it on Lisa. I think their issues stemmed way back then at that time with Brandy and Lisa. Kyle only stuck with her marriage for TV and for her girls. I never heard of Morgan, so she isn’t a household name. I have grown up listening to Country music & I’m five years older than Kyle. So Morgan isn’t widely known. Kyle needs to stop lying on all aspects of her life just to keep that paycheck and stop trying to take other people down.
Watching this weeks episode (assuming there wasnt deceptive editing post production) did Lindsay absolutely no favours and kinda confirmed what I suspected. No one likes a sloppy, angry, messy and kinda annoying person liquored up (i did not use the word drunk) so her conversation with Kyle where she said if Carl says anything negative about her drinking she is perfectly entitled to punch back with well ill be polite what shes said and sometimes saying what we say on episodes to date. Im going say my opinion and im not at all medically qualified, nor do I know Lyndsay or pass judgement but taking a step back as an adult and seeing what was shown...she was so out of order, hit so far below the belt and quite honestly was why you walk away and never argue with stupid. If someone is drunk and needs to be called out to dial it back and said person is that angry they retaliate by throwing digs about the persons sobriety...love youre in your 30s grow the eff up. Yes letting loose on a weekend and relaxing drinking is perfectly fine but there is nothing wrong with being told dial it back especially in public at a restaurant. However, retaliating questioning someones sobriety is bang out of order.
I'm still team Lindsey. I can however accept she's 75% cray cray. Carl is different with no Cameras around 100%. He is not the victim. They don't vibe, they are on 2 different areas of their lives. Lindsey is a drunk, but a functioning successful drunk ( not saying it's a good thing) and Carl is a kind of sober ( weed is still a drug) man trying to figure out his life at 38 ( and that's ok we all figure out at different times)

Lindsey is self-destructing in the most Lindsey way possible because she knows Carl isn’t ready for marriage or a relationship in general. Anything that alters your consciousness is a drug and will be abused by an addict.

Ciara literally had a brief thing with Austen back in 2021 when she was 25 and she's never been with him again since that year. She also hasn't even been with anyone else on the show (she never hooked up with anyone on the second season Winter House, and she never went out with Kory etc). West is the first person she's actually opened up to again and he seems like a nice person. This narrative always being pushed about Ciara is false and tired already.
