Thing is there are plenty of really good players in this draft so it's not an extra necessity to draft in the top 3. I think the the top 5/6 are still very strong.
i'm gonna say it...Ben Saraf to the spurs is gonna be one of the best decisions they can make. He's a great 1 and can also play the 2. With his court vision, together with Wemby, he's gonna finish with double double every game...
THey need shooting insanely bad and their second best prospect they have is a player who wants to be and is best as a ball handling play maker. Saraf is a jumbo playmaker who cant shoot as of right now, thats a terrible fit on SAS. THe spurs are not some "europe player taking, make em a star and no one else knew about the guy "team. THis isnt 2004. And saraf is a top 4-8 mocked player already at this point, surs arent fidning some guy no one knows about. Spurs fans live in absolute fantasy world thinking they are some top development, best coaching staff, best FO team. Its an absolute joke. It is not 2005, 2012, its 2024 and those days are a decade gone.
I like Tre Johnson to the Spurs a lot, anybody who can open up the floor for Vic would be amazing but I think I like Egor better than Saraf for SA! He’s just giving me Manu vibes & I feel like it’s meant to be plus castle under CP3 should really help his development as a point guard 😂 I love Liam to Houston. He fits right in… high defensive motor, connective guy, sniper, just gritty! KM to Atlanta is a great ying to Onyekas yang. I like Nolan or Saraf to Toronto. Ace to Portland is the perfect fit. I like Rocco to a place like NO or GSW. I just feel like it’s destined for Coop to land in BKN at this point. I like D Harp in Washington too. They could really have some elite size moving forward with him, Bilal, Kyshawn, Sarr, etc. Asa Newell is a top 15 player imo too. Good motor, good shooter. VJ is going to add absolute intensity to wherever he lands… Will Riley is a sleeper. Charlotte could really benefit from Kon or Riley. Just having a knock down shooter. Yeah man… just some things I see early that I like fit wise. If Minny ends up with an Ian Jackson, Alex Karaban, or Carter Knox would be a clean up! After the great draft they had this year.
I would say he needs to put on weight to become a real threat. We saw shorter guys like Marcus Domask from Illinois push Milan around last year because he simply wasn’t strong enough. Right now he’s a great shooter but he struggles at getting to the rim and can only create tough shots in the mid range although he can knock those down.
if you can find it, watch rasheer fleming’s first half against VCU last year. I went to that game and rasheer had one of the most dominant defensive halves of basketball i’ve ever seen
LOL not really. THat would not be a contending big 2 over the next decade vs OKC, BOS for the next 5 yrs, SAS with whoever they get with wemby, the magic as is, Theyd both be UFA's by the end of this time period and not guaranteed to stay at all by then too
The NBA would never allow that, unfortunately… they want Coop in America for marketing reasons. Closest he’s getting to Toronto is BKN. TBH though I don’t think Toronto really benefits from a top 3 pick this year as much as a few other teams unless they land on Harper, the only guy I think actually helps with the build or flow of the team. Top 7 would put them in great striking range at guys like Ben Saraf or Nolan Traore. I feel like they need a true playmaking lead guard to really unlock some of Scottie’s off ball potential, unleash the sniper in Gradeys game & Walter’s game. Someone Iman could play off of as an off guard at times. I was hoping they could’ve landed Topic this year bc I thought he would’ve been a really solid talent for them. They could really benefit from a young big to start developing now since what happened with Koloko. Both bigs are just lackluster but they fill a role for now & that’s all that matters.
It's surprising seeing to many international guys come over to play college basketball now. College basketball is not good at developing talent and most guys have huge holes in their game and are very one dimensional. International players are a lot better players overall and leave a lot of the college guys behind in being ready to actually contribute to an NBA team early.
@@Therealjimcramer I didn't say that they are going to be selected as top 3 picks, I said those are the players that I love the most from the draft. Hope now is clear :)
I’m not seeing the Ben hype right now, his eurobasket stats are great but the film exposes some major flaws. Defensive effort is low as he’s rarely in a stance and doesn’t fight through screens. Offensively he doesn’t utilize his off hand and his jumpers aren’t falling at efficient clip. Thinks he’s capable of fixing both things as he’s quick enough to be a good defender and his shooting mechanics are good but for now I’m not saying close to top 3.
@sros the reality is the raptors are 1 win 4 losses and going on a west coast road trip with playoff teams. by next week or two they can be 1 win 10 losses and the gm pulls the plug on the season bottoming out the team. when they get rid of jakob poeltl the team will be genuinely bad. i believe they were 3 wins 29 losses without jakob poeltl. so thinking raptors are 8th is being optimistic. trade jakob poeltl, kelly olynyk, bruce brown, chris boucher, davion mitchell and the raptors probably lucky to win 20 games all year. they just lost to hornets btw.
Being the worst team does not guarantee a top 1, 2 or 3 pick. Just ask the pistons as they've constantly picked 5th for 3 straight yrs even if they were the bottom team the past couple of seasons
If Illinois gives Kasparas the keys to play the 1 (don’t know why BR has him listed as a 3) then I think he’ll put the world on notice. He lacks world class athleticism but he plays at his own pace and can score from all 3 levels.
idk why ben saraf is underrated. he was so much better than traore when both had played in the same competition and only if ben was french he was ranked higher than traore
10:44 “really good mid range jumper” yet he shot 35% from the field on jumpers and 20% on jumpers between 17ft and 3Pt during u18 eurobasket. I think he’s creating good shots for himself but he’s simply not knocking them down.
Lmaooo the guy went from #1 player coming into college to not even being talked about for draft time lmaoo, he wasn’t even talked about in college either…
GTFOH the shitty ass pistons need to quit wasting the top end talent coming into the NBA< picking in the top damn for a decade straight Never getting better. THey are absolutely pathetic and no top 5 player every single freaking season should have to always worry about going to the pistons. If anything the pistons should be the first team kicked out of the lottery after over half a decade of abusing the top of it. Its beyond pathetic
@@grapeape1965Pistons are literally the biggest victim of the lottery odds change 💀. Cooper Flagg would fit in really well in Utah.
Not with the team necessarily, but you know...
Him & Filipowski would be a generational duo of Caucasity
Hey. Yeah you are kinda right. Still there are black players that like Utah. Derrick Favors came back calling it home.
lmao
yea I was confused when he started making a case for Flagg and Kessler being a great front court lol
i really hope the raptors just tank this season man, adding one of those top 3 guys to this team would help so much
As a pistons fan same
its a stealth Tank probably LOL

Gradey is starting to come into his own player as well. A trio of Gradey-Flagg-Barnes is a bright future
21:11 look at bro on the right side of the picture lmaooooo
Ace is the number 1 pick
10:25 ratiopharm Ulm is a german team.
No Grant Nelson is surprising, but no Mark Sears is criminal
Or Rj Davis
I think Will Riley gonna jump
Up the draft boards
Finally the blazers get mocked to get a good player
Chicago with #6 would either trade up for one of the top 5 or trade back and get one of the centers
hunter should be a first rounder, i agree

It's been 6 games. So...
I have high hopes for Nolan traore, he's balling in France rn

Brooklyn doesn't deserve the #1 or a top 5 pick for 2 blown superteams.
Oh well that’s why we’re in a rebuild now
Flagg, Kessler and Lauri might be the best frontcourt in the league if it happened
Nah.
OKC is still better imo with Ihart, Jdub and Holgrem
