God bless Pst Chris for always showing us the right way, the kingdom way to prosper

God bless Pastor Chris for showing us the right way”? More like showing us the wrong way to empty our pockets! Let’s break this down: Tithing in the Old Testament was about crops and livestock-not money. Even back then, money existed, but funny enough, God didn’t ask for it. But here comes Pastor Chris, trying to convince people to hand over their hard-earned cash like it’s the only path to prosperity. News flash: The New Testament doesn’t command us to tithe! We’re told to give freely, from the heart, not under pressure.
Now, if you want to hand over your wallet every Sunday and call it “the kingdom way to prosper,” that’s on you. But I’ll stick to what the actual Word says and not let anyone guilt-trip me into making their bank account prosper.

Pastor Chris this is a matured and powerful teaching you are a teacher, More grace sir.

Oh, it’s "matured and powerful" all right-if by "matured" you mean it’s been aged like a fine bottle of misinformation. More grace? Sure, but let’s hope that grace helps people see the truth! Look, calling this "powerful teaching" doesn’t change the fact that tithing in the Bible was never about money. Somehow, Pastor Chris skipped over that and decided to turn an agricultural practice into a modern-day collection plate. Convenient, isn’t it?
The New Testament teaches giving from the heart, freely, not out of obligation or manipulation. So, I’d say the real maturity here would be knowing the difference between biblical truth and a clever way to keep the donations flowing. Let’s focus on giving because we’re led by love, not by guilt-or Pastor Chris’s bank balance!

Today believers believe in the money they give and not in Jesus who saved them.

See the difference. Damina believes in giving, but do attacking the way pastor's present it. My challenge is how Damina presents it like quarrelling. See how Chris presented it gently. The Holy spirit is gentle.
Method is presentation of God's word is as important as the word.

Ah, I see! So it’s a matter of presentation now? Sure, Pastor Chris presents it gently-like a well-dressed salesman making you feel good about signing up for something you never needed. Just because it’s wrapped up in a smooth delivery doesn’t mean it’s truth. The Holy Spirit may be gentle, but He’s also about truth, not sugar-coating things for the sake of appearance.
And if Damina is a bit more direct, maybe it’s because sometimes people need a wake-up call, not a lullaby. It’s one thing to speak gently, but when you’re twisting scripture to fit an agenda, it doesn’t matter how softly you say it-it’s still wrong!
Ah, yes, “the method is as important as the word.” I guess that’s true if your goal is to keep people comfortable while leading them off track. Sure, you can have the best presentation in the world, but if the content is flawed, all you’ve got is a shiny, well-packaged mistake. I’d rather someone tell me the hard truth with a bit of edge than gently hand me something that’s completely off.
The Word of God is powerful enough on its own, and it doesn’t need to be dressed up with smooth talk to manipulate people into tithing like it’s still the Old Testament. So, while Chris may have a gentle method, let’s not confuse that with correctness. The truth is what matters, even if it’s not delivered with a smile and a soft voice!

It takes foolishness to follow God and received God promise and that foolishness is what real children of God called trust and obey and that is what apostle Peter mean by saying to Jesus at thine words and he cast the net into the deep then he got the promise is as simple as that for God don't always rewards the Smart people, the most cleaver people, the most rich people and the most privilege people but the obedient

Using results to justify an act is a lame argument. Yahoo yahoo works, does that mean we should be doing yahoo? So many wrong things work including kidnapping, armed robbery, fraud, embezzlement, etc. The end does not justify the means. Giving is not the same as tithing. The believers in the new testament were taught to give cheerfully not tithe. God blessed everyone with resources for them to exploit and live irrespective whether they believe in him or not. Unbelievers who don't tithe are wealthier than Christians, Luke 6:38 which he used to say give and it shall be given unto you is not about tithing but Jesus was teaching about selfless giving, giving without expecting anything in return (you can read the entire passage to get the context of the whole teaching) So relating it to tithing is not correct. Tithing is not taught in the new testament at all, only generosity, giving to the needy, widows, welcoming strangers (willingly or cheerfully) is what the new testament teaches.
The parable of the seed sower had nothing to do with giving, Jesus clearly interpreted the parable to his disciples in the following verses stating that the seed is the Word of God and that the ground is the heart of man... (nothing whatsoever to do with tithing or giving). So Pastor Chris is not right on this passage by relating it to giving

I think you have to be wise you talking about Yahoo Yahoo let me teach you a second, there is a difference between a righteous man blessings and a wicked or a sinners so call blessings is it God that gives Yahoo Yahoo the money? Your Ignorance is too high. I don't know where to start with you. You talk about the parable of hundred folds Jesus teaches about not money 💰 right pastor is talking about how is growing from three thousand to five billions, that is exactly what Jesus said, is better you listen to what he says not what he didn't say.

I completely agree with this take! Using "results" to justify tithing is like saying because something works, it’s automatically right. By that logic, we should all be celebrating fraudsters and criminals since their methods “work,” too, right? It's a classic case of missing the point.
The truth is, giving in the New Testament is about generosity from the heart-cheerfully, willingly, and with love. It’s not about fulfilling some outdated obligation to tithe, and Luke 6:38 isn’t about tithing either-it’s about selfless giving. Jesus wasn’t handing out financial tips in that passage; he was talking about giving without expecting anything in return.
And let’s be real: unbelievers who don’t tithe are out here living large, so clearly, tithing isn’t some magic formula for wealth. What the New Testament teaches is caring for the needy, the widows, and being generous to those around us-not lining the pockets of pastors through mandatory tithes. So, trying to twist these scriptures to fit a tithing narrative is just wrong. Pastor Chris missed the mark on this one, plain and simple.
