I'm telling you. If you're thinkin of 937 have no doubt. the bike is a vicious animal. Analog dials are a nice touch for sure but I do love all the new info.

@@ducatinyc I received the motorcycle in December last year, and where I live, the season starts in March / April, so I'm just starting to enjoy it. However, I drove a test drive last year and it convinced me to buy it. I took the red Moto GP cover Kit at start, so it has a different painting. Now the plan is to change the fender to a shorter one, next will be the mirrors :)

As far as the new frame…. Ducati has always been about the future of motorcycling. I got my monster over the scrambler or a vintage bike because it was about the tech. The ride. The speed. And it said ducati on the tank.

Ducatis are premium bikes, sure they cost a little more but if you have the means you're gonna love the experience of ownership. I've had my 2012 Streetfighter 848 for 2 years now & it's always fun to ride. Also, having 2 bikes is a good idea if you commute daily. You'll want that backup because one needs to spend the a night or 2 with the mechanic, just the nature of motorcycles. My Indian spent almost 3 weeks at the shop once because the odometer stopped working, rode the Ducati the whole time. Love your vlog, keep it up!
2012 SF 848 is still one of my faves and dream bikes - loved riding it. I'll def pick one up one day. And yes, 2 bikes is key especially since its my main and preferred mode of transport. Thank you my friend! Safe rides!
I wasn't sure about the new Monster, but now even kinda like it :) I have a restored M600, M695 and a Streetfighter 1098 and also love all of them though they so different. Keep it up man, can't wait to see you on your new bike splitting the lanes of NYC ;)

Finally and about dang time.
Congrats! Got the 2021 and i put the rizoma drag bar for a more agressive riding position. I couldnt recommend it enough, it changed a really fun bike into an awesome one.
I lowered the bars on my 620 and it changed it up for sure. I'll def consider the drag bar for the new one, as well as the raised seat, i think that 20mm would do wonders.

Ayye congrats man 🔥 a new bike has been long overdue but we still love the little 620 that could 😂 it's insane because I been watching your videos since the start and they inspired me to pull the trigger on buying a bike, I also live in NYC. More specially your "NEW YORK CITY, SLAYED" video. I've had 3 bikes since then, but I've always kept my first bike. I'm a Kawasaki boy through and through but damn, that new Ducati looks good. Agreed - its like a baby streetfighter. And sure, trellis is sweet and all, still got it on my 620 - but for tech wise - its heavy and outdated - and a good reason new SF and Panigales dont have it any more.

For tires with your local conditions, simular to mine, I would recommend the Metzeler Sportec M9 RR.
Sporty tires that stick in cold and wet weather and even last surprisingly well for a sports tire. ;)
Had and have them again on my MT-09, dealy commuting lasting for 14k kilometers, so not bad at all...
Thank you brother. I love this thing. I rock Bridgestone Battlax T32's - find it to be a perfect touring tire and also Bridgestone sponsors the channel so - eazy math. I do love some Michelins though.

Congrats man!! Wish I could get the new monster myself but the only ducati dealer around here is absolutely awful. Its like they are trying to be as rude as possible. A year ago I had a brand new Ducati Multistrada 950 s. After a week or so it refused to start and I had a 4 year warranty on it. I turned to the dealer and they seriously asked "what do you want us to do about it?"
That is gross. I'm so sorry about your experience. Sadly I've heard similar stories about other Ducati spots too, even around here. But don't give up on the brand due to rude service.

Thank you! Its not going to be a "how to" per se but more of a rebuilding vlog experience. I'll be able to answer questions though. I just dont want to spend more time setting up camera and shots than wrenching.
And also don't feel bad about using the new bike, let the old bike rest a bit it's been a soldier in rain and sun. Take it out on occasions for nostalgia. The new bike needs some love. And take care , feel In everything before you give the beens, because one could argue that bikes bow are to strong for really using them. Take care, and again congratulations! Love from Sweden

your going to put green wrap on top of that beautiful 2022 matte gray paint ? like Italian design could possibly be not perfect.
Hehehe well, its black paint to be fair - and its a toy, a work in project, the green wrap may stay for short while, or may never even be put on. Time will tell.
I love the FOV on this monster more than the street fighter too. The like, lowered down gauge cluster/speedo thing on the street fighter looks like an accident. This one, MUCH better. I love it.
Agreeed. Its a bit more tucked away, however it makes for a bit of a different video appearance, not sure if that makes sense. I'm still getting used to the looks of this new boy.
