It's kind of a shock after all the powerful tracks that come before it. While not a song I play too often, I do know all of the words. And I like how it transitions into "Island Of Domination".
It's strange to me to think that this is the final act of the album, since here in Brazil it was released with the sides swapped. What makes more sense to me is to start with Prelude/Tyrant, fade in the side B with Victim of Changes and finish with Deceivers. In any case, this album is a classic for me, in memory of my uncle who left me the LP, and what a wonderful cover! Please, react to the psych-laden Cherry Red by The Groundhogs!
Beautiful song - and every year that goes by it hits harder!!!
Throughout the 70's period Priest would always throw in a classy ballad .... & were all the better for it.
Great tune. Shows Rob's versatility. Very Queen like.

Asked for Epitaph to be play at my funeral, don't know if it will happen or not LOL. Island Of Domination is an gem very underrated song.
Had no idea they had a song like this.

It is a stone cold classic, the album that invented twin guitar metal. \m/ \m/
Interesting...I never knew that, but the track listing does make total sense that way around!
Also, I'll second Cherry Red!
One of the saddest songs in metal, yet beautiful. Same theme explored in Beyond the Realms of Death.
Had I heard this tune cold, my very last guess would have been Judas Priest. : D
Dude, just do the whole thing in order. 😁
