Land cruiser Cygnus 2UZ-FE is my favorite vehicle. I have tried to switch to fortuner but I have completely failed. We are still watching. I watch your videos daily because of love for land cruiser. Watching from Zambia.
Do you have PPF that you're willing to sacrifice? If not, I think you should do a pre-wash ( just water without scrubbing) so you can get all the dirt and particles off before washing so you don't ruin the paint. If you don't, you're effectively just turning whatever you're using into sandpaper with the particles.
Yes yes don’t worry I always use plenty water it looks like I’m scrubbing but I’m Not , the dirt and grime needs abit of towel action and water to get it off as it had sat on the car a few days! I do try my best to maintain the pearl paint I love It to bits!
Awesome. For sure Cygnus is a great car for overlanding. The PRADO 4.0 V6 DUAL VVTI VXL with the newer updated engine is up there with the Cygnus 😛 in my opinion. The engine power output is close to the Cygnus. 267 horsepower and 380 -400 NM of torque and comes equipped with the KDSS which is a hydraulic system as well to offer a comfortable and stable ride both on and off road
@@MasaiGainz Yes the J150. Toyota South Africa still assembles the v6 though it was discontinued in Japan. They fit it with the updated 1GR-FE engine with dual VVTI. The fuel economy on this vehicle is impeccable having such a big engine and also comes with an extra reserve tank so you get 150L of fuel(on a full tank you get around 1300- 1500km)
@mwanzompya-nb1rc cool. I had the same engine 4L V6 in my Prado 120 series several years back. Always enjoyed that engine lots of power, though fuel economy was similar to my current 4.7L V8
@@MasaiGainz The 120 series had the old 1GR-FE with single VVTI. As from 2015 onwards the 1GR-FE was updated and fitted with a dual VVTI to improve the fuel economy, torque and power. On the highway I can get between 7.5 - 8.5 L per 100km. I love the Cygnus so much and wanted to buy one. I looked around the ones that I found had a poor service maintenance history hence decided to go for the South African version of the J150
@@MasaiGainz Keep the episodes coming you are doing a superb job and stating facts. People should be enlightened that petrol cars are not as horrible as the masses portray them
