- Six people have been arrested for the murders of rapper AKA and his friend Tebello Motsoane. They were shot outside a Durban restaurant last year. KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has revealed that AKA was the target of an elaborate assassination plot. Criminal expert Ian Allis weighs in.

I also felt Mkhwanazi did not want to say much because of social media until he had it full but I think Swaziland reporter might have taken that away from him buy publicly announcing. I stand to be corrected but his face seemed not so happy, he seemed forced to do the press conference. Again, I could be wrong!! My prayers are with The Forbes family…. The surprise announcement last night was just to save face for Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi & Cele ... Times of Eswatini broke the story but I assure you those two didnt know anything about this mission to arrest & extradite...
What a load of hogwash you just spewed. It's the SAPS that is investigating the murder of AKA and not the Republic of Eswatini and by extension their policing apparatus. It is the SAPS who alerted the Sawzi police about the presence of these two in their country and their relatability to the aforementioned crimes.
Shiw proof that they did not know. As was reported once tge news go out they went on the run and the 7nth has just been arrested since he was on the run.

It's politics, 85 deaths being reported on doesn't sell, in fact, people subscribe in a case like this.
Logical, considering none of those other cases have the public pressuring the SAPS, it's sad and unfortunate but blame the public.
Emotions are high because this was never gonna play out differently, meeting Anele, was probably the worst thing but it set things in motion, I'm not blaming her but she was a psychologically damaged kid that had no business entertaining Kiernan, but this could have happened 4 times prior to the time it actually happened.
AKA had an energy about him, that bugged people, he gets under the skin of his enemies, and setting foot in Durban while the case is still actively being rebutted in court (Kiernan was going to be acquitted of all charges relating to Anele's death)
The moment he stepped foot in the Tembe's kingdom, he was dead, but listen, Kiernan ain't stupid, I wouldn't put self-assassination or the assistance there of past the man, if it meant his family got to keep the wealth he built and the royalties (whole different discussion), everything in Mass Country suggests that he was aware of a plot to kill him, the reasoning, coming clean and finally on the last song on the album, the bonus track, he states, "When the lights go off, price go up".
So I'm following this case to answer a multiple choice question i have;
1. AKA knew, went in anyway because money (his family reading his networth gives you the reason as to why, it's why he joined the pyramid in the first place)
2. AKA knew about the plot, but it caught him off guard.
3. AKA didn't know and this hit was from high up (I can tell you now, Police chief knows either way, his presence at Anele's ceremony let's you know, it's a syndicate).
4. Tibz, Don Design, the other's with AKA that night, knew some of details of how the actual shooting will go down, you can tell by the way Tibz spun him around with his back toward the shooter, that being shooter 1, Tibz saw, as portrayed by camera angle #2, the gun man approach and he put Kiernan's back right where he needed to be, the 2nd shooter was meant to take out Don Design (I'm assuming because he was the only one who could link the mastermind to the hitmen, the hitmen were already primed and ready, but the shooters didn't anticipate Don Design moving fast to the direction of the first shooter, as soon as the shot occured from shooter 1, you can see the 2nd shooter's bullet miss Don by it taking the route his head was just in a split second ago, before he ducked down, he was ready.
One thing I'm sure of is that Mass Country, was the last album.
