Mephistopheles is the demon from Faust, but Lucifer was the bringer of light, or aka little sunshine.

Man, their older stuff when they were really going for the satanic feel, was the best. Opus Eponymous is my favorite album, followed closely by Infestissumam and Meloria. Their original stuff was just so evil-sounding and unique, it drew me in instantly. I know it's not everyone's favorite, but the occult stuff just hit different for me.

I'm Catholic. Not strict...mind you, but I got over the Catholic guilt part of it and enjoy it for what it is since it's all tongue in cheek anyway. There are worse things than this out there. Good music is good music 🎶 😁😊🤭
