I am very grateful to have found these lectures but I would love it if you had a microphone since the camera is quite far away from you. Thank you for your time and work that went into making these videos

Wonderful video! Than you again for sharing. I can only imagine that for the "socially" norm societies at the time when psychology was yet to be discovered or practice that mental disorders or abnormal behaviors were more than likely viewed in a very negative/scary way. Some may have even viewed it as demonic or see someone as being Possessed due to their strange behavior. Thank goodness we have the tools and knowledge we have now to spread enlightenment to others!

So according the the definition of a mental disorder, everyone has a mental disorder to a varying degree in which in harms their life and mostly because the very nature of being a human and trying to function in our imperfect economic system causes disturbances in our life and behavior?
    Spoiler alert...
Sounds like job security if i pursue the path of therapist :) If i have job 'security' i can finally stop feeling abnormal about having economic 'insecurity'.

What if, based on the research I've done, we have corruption in society and in government, and i feel like we are all proverbial slaves working for money to help someone else get rich off our backs, and 10s of millions of people (just in the U.S. alone) are suffering mentally and physically due to such exploitation, and therefore i don't want to participate in the U.S. economy, but i could see myself working in a more equitable economy in a different country....Does that mean i have a mental disorder? Then include the fact that we are at the whims of our government to throw us into war killing other people who we dont want to kill, having to sign up for the meat grinder draft when we're 18 in case we're needed in another bullshit type conflict like Vietnam. Not only have i done the research to back up the facts, but i also have a personal experience, i was personally involved in a situation where my health was destroyed, my life was in ruins, and i almost died at the hands of a small group of doctors in the medical industry, all for them to make the almighty dollar over the health and safety of another human being (me). And it happens to people ALL THE TIME in this country. How does one gain back faith in society, humanity, our economic system, and a 'normal' life due to that?
