@@pimpinken8901 the act of staking a vampire is more symbolic of anchoring the corpse to the grave. It doesn't always have to be wood but it must be enough that it gets the message across

Shell with the first 1/3 made a wood would definitely still get the point across with a basketball sized hole with nothing in it where their heart used to be plus three walls behind them but if the rules deem it not enough wood, does he just grow that back?🤷♂️

The cut says it all, the tension on those bands cannot release that much power in the shot. It's made of bamboo and rubber bands, could probably take out a pigeon but won't puncture an armoured vehicle.

The chinese and japanese used bamboo for guns before they came across western metal barrelled guns. The bamboo barrels were reinforced by heavy wrappings and theyd fall apart after a few shots (plus they were wildly inaccurate) but they were the first actual guns.
Is not a silencer it's to re-enforces the tip of the Bambu so it won't shatter after too many shots And his using medical rubber tubing instead of rubber bands which comes in variable strengths.
My brother and I used to make mortars out of a piece of greased steel pipe that would shoot D size batteries almost a quarter of a mile. The M80s we dropped down 1st gave it the explosive power it needed!
We pulled the cap off chain link fence post and dropped m80 then gravel. Made awesome grapeshot
We did similar with a small screw on attachment we filled with LYNX body spray.

Me and some of my cousing made explosive nerf darts.
You take the big ones, "missile" I guess would be the word, cut out a cavity in the front, and put in a nail with some kind of weight on the back of it. Face nail out. Use short nails, so you can fit a 410 round in front of it. Make sure some of it is sticking out so it gets pushed back from the impact. And viola, a fireable shaped charge. Take the slug out and replace it with black powder and magnesium, and things get really fun.
If there's one thing I got from this video, it's to never piss this guy off...

Back as a teen we'd use thick bamboo stalks to make cannons with calcium carbide and a drop of water. Best friend lost his eyebrows keeping his face too close to it when it went boom.

I agree, it's just a thin rubberband it will not have enough velocity to make that kind of impact. I always shoot cans and pest with my 650fps 6mm airsoft, 950fps 22 lead pellet air rifle and 1600fps 22LR rifle, No way this bamboo gun can make that power, it's likely less than 200fps and that projectile could also be tumbling after 5 meters.

Bamboo is extremely invasive. Root structure can spread out 50' and propagate hundreds of new bamboo's in a matter of months.

Back in middle school, a bunch of us got suspended for making sling shots out of the plastic clicker pencils with the refillable lead and shooting bb's with them. It worked pretty slick. Just cut the end off and use the inside for the ram rod. Used paper clips to wire on the cross, a couple rubber bands and your good to go.

The bullet is hooked to a piece of wood. How does it work?
I do not know for sure. I'm an engineer. I believe the dowel(wood piece) is slotted into the round(bullet). Therefore able to stay in the weapon as the round ejects. I mean, I think that's how it works.

There’s a lever on top of the hollow cylinder that when lifted, allows the long and very elastic rubber band to pass through the cylinder. This then comes into contact with the bolt (the small wooden thing inserted) and quickly caries the force of the rubber band being flung out onto the bolt and out of the hollow cylinder. He has weaponized this device for fun and uses it as target practice
