I empty the litter box after EVERY single use- adn I have 3 cats-- which is a LOT of shoveling!!! ha. that's ok-- they use this one all the time- and have no issues-- becuse they come tell me when it's been used if I didn't see them.. :) As to the house- they have free run- and haven't damaged anything--- NOT ONE ITEM..
The last two mistakes have been a complaint of mine for years. I tell people all the time not to bathe their cats but no one wants to listen. It's actually gotten worse. More people than ever are bathing their cats and I contribute a lot of the to the internet. They see it being done all the time. The best way to terrorize your cat is to bathe it. That's a torture they should never have to endure. And De-clawing, that is the cruelest thing you can do to a cat. I ask people how they would like to have the ends of their fingers cut off! I have rescued several cats that have been de-clawed. These are thing that can manifest in their behavior, biting, because they don't have claws to protect themselves, insecurity, they lose the confidence to jump and climb, they can become fearful and find it difficult to interact with other pets because their first line of defense is gone. Don't get a cat for a toddler, they aren't toys. Don't get a cat if you're afraid of being scratched or you fear they will claw your furniture, they have to be taught what's acceptable behavior. There is NO good reason to de-claw a cat. If you think that's acceptable for what ever reason then you don't really want a cat because that is part of who they are! I don't know why it isn't illegal in this country. It IS pure torture at it's worst.
@@sloopy5191 nah I’ve taught my cat like I did my dogs and it worked. You can’t always tip-toe around a misbehaving cat just because you have no backbone. Teach them firmly and they will learn the set rules.
One of the first things I bought for my first cat is a parakeet to hang from the ceiling. She is obsessed with it and both are quite happy and healthy. I do have quite a few claw marks on my wall but oh well.
My cats will use every litter box I set out even before I'm done cleaning and refilling it. As soon as a clean box is available for them they insist on using it directly and as soon as possible. And once they go in it they complain because I haven't stopped it soon enough. Crazy critters. Lol
Our cats might be sensitive to stronger scents, but they're not the only ones here... I also have high level senses, with the exception of my eye sight. I can notice scents real well. And I hate being stuck in my parents home (money, rent costs, other reasons) with all these scents so often from different family members and state of the house (mess, junk crowding, dirt/dust, scented product, etc). Those things mentioned are not only an issue with scents, but air quality. I I had the money to, I'd just get a camper to live in or make a home from a shipping container or truck or whatever. But not an option with the lack of money and no luck in lotto, support, etc.
I'm watching this as my cat is sitting on my lap. Which happens to be her favorite sitting, sleeping, lounging and eating spot. So the one about they like having their own space doesn't really work for my cat.
A high fiber diet is good for the coat? I didn't know that. I think bathing a cat even once or twce a year like you suggested is too much. Idk- maybe if it's a cat that plays outside alot and gets actual dirt on themselves. But indoor cats are self-cleaning. They absolutely don't need to be bathed, ever. Brushing is great. My cats Love the Kitty Brush. It's a nice bonding time, and a good time to check their ears, they get itchy when wax or oil builds up so I Gently wipe them out. Only use a Qtip if your cat stays still and you really know what your doing, otherwise just use a soft material over your finger to clean inside the ears. Anyway- I really enjoyed your video and I subscribed too 😺
I have a very strange cat . He will sit in water or lay in it if possible even in the wintertime . He sleeps on a plastic bag in a cold secluded corner , he put the bag there himself , he must have because I didn’t .
Our cats get outdoors plenty in the day and do hunt and chase & play with each other, so exercise is not an issue for them.
Cats very nice and very beautiful and so happy 😻👌👌👌👌👌
This list was very thorough and informative. Best I've seen.
Glad you enjoyed it!

the chinese and south korean tiktoks and vloggers are the culprit
Absolutely! Bathing a cat is only done if at all... necessary!! Declawing should be Banned by All countries!

Asking a Knights Templar to drop their shield, sword and bye bye armour, during a crusade.

How does nature accommodate dental health in the “wild”?

Try Zero Odor!
Love this. Ive been a big cat lover forever and thought I knew everything. Thanks for the education!
The essential oil diffusers seem dangerous to any creature who might breathe that air. Hmm...

Getting the cat off the counter, I don't say OFF. I say DOWN. Works often too with the right voice (not too nice, but not very angry. Just firm).

Usually if one of our cats vomit, it's either because they ate too much grass (outdoors) or ate a whole bird/rodent.
Pink part 50
I’ve had cats all my life, never bathed a cat, it isn’t necessary unless they get into something and why would you want the battle that insures.
Bathing and declawing are not mistakes, it is abuse.
My cats ONLY get bathed IF they tangle with a skunk.
Pet the kitty when the kitty comes for pets
That poor wet kitty!
Anything tied to the end of a hook?? WTH!!! No, just NO! Tie whatever to the end of the line but DO NOT use a hook of any kind. Sheesh! 🤦♀️
Ring hooks and carbine quick hooks are hooks too. Naturally you don´t want to use the ones used on fishing rods.🙄
Thank god the #1 mistake on here is declawing. Declawing is a horrendous and inhumane act and should never be done to any poor little kitty.
I Dont have any Plants in my Apartment! I buy my cat, Cat grass. My cat drinks from his fountain.
2:35 or Datura Anoxia - poisonous & halucinagenic to humans and animals alike
Do NOT put a toy on a hook. FFS
😅

A lot of that advice is nonsense 🙄
Too much BS..
