Just stumbled upon him from BBC R6, a dam fine radio show, Guy Garvey just played him, it stopped me in my mental tracks, not this track, Cars are in the garden. Something told me as a dysfunctional 61 year old man, doing the therapy to repair my CPTSD, this guy speaks to me. Now I’ve dried my eyes from the first listening of this, I’ll now invest plenty of mindful time hearing his messages. ✊🏻❤️
Paul Buchanan has one of the most achingly beautiful voices. So happy for you that you have discovered him, thanks to Guy. Best wishes on your journey of healing.
Every time I see Paul's face it reminds me - I was in a lift in the Great western Hospital (Glasgow) going to visit my father who was a patient there. I shared that lift journey with Paul. He was stood right next to me - and I said nothing.....other than a friendly head nod. Seems he was visiting someone in the same ward as my dad. Every time I see his face it reminds me of the day my father passed away.
Absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing. Got something in my eye…

WHY does this stop abruptly well before the end? So disappointing.

From 2013? Voice less malleable but still amazing song.
I think it's beautiful as ever. The voice, I mean. And the song, of course.
