Tudtak ők is szépen görizni :):) 0:16. És Rostalló felé még 10 kilós a pálya... szuper felvételek! :) (Leírásban a fenyvesi videód egyik bekezdése szerepel)
These little narrow gauge lines. Is this still in operation and if so, any newer video available? What horsepower is the engine or other specifications? I assume gasolene-powered?
Yes, it is in operation today, it is 128 years old now. The engine is Hungarian C50, should be 50 LE horsepower. www.kisvasut.hu/jarmulista/view_adatlap.php?id=14
Thank you for the information. I worked for a Class I railroad back between school semesters(early 70's) and model in HO scale now(1/87) and adding a small operation as represented by this would be ideal... besides, it's very fascinating..! Too often we think bigger/newer/faster/etc. is 'better'... Not so. I like these small narrow-gauge operations and am glad it's still working. Glad that the film could be converted over to video for preservation. Again, thank you for the info!
