Just broke my factory tie rod a few days ago. Bought these Moorhead tie rods today. My factory tie rod broke right at the tip of the bolt at the rack side. How has your Moorhead tie rods held up so far?

They are near indestructible. Just make sure you get them in the right position before locking them down or else they will come loose on you.
Snapped one this weekend right at where the threads start on the ball and socket end off the steering rack. Pain in the ass to replace.
Oh crap. That sucks bad.
The steering rack is weak also. You can avoid removing the old tie rods by buying a new steering rack. Boss2.0 us very stout.

What size tires are one this defender? I’m looking to go with 6” portals and 38s maybe 40s but I’m just not sure yet
Are those OEM knuckles that are painted black or are they aftermarket?

I have a 2018 defender with 35s. The problems I have had with tie rods is that they usually bend
