What an inspiring story and chap this John is. I have a lot of respect for what he is doing and it shows your fellow countrymen in a positive light. I wish him and his family all the best. Lovely, inspirational video. Cheers
Thank you for the video ma'am. I'm from talibon bohol too. It makes me proud being Talibonian... thank you soo much for keeping us updated our country home! God bless you and your family!
Why does your heart sink? He's self-employed with an easy job, free of wage slavery and able to support a family well. This is impossible in the US or Europe due to all the rules and taxes. He seems stress-free.
Just because of tax free it’s not a easy job got to wake up early as possible .. if you’re follow his story carefully that’s not the only job he does..other several jobs he has do every day to support his family and his children’s education.. to my eye he is a real hero ..
Ohh .. I forgot to mention this person does not have sick leave .. or unemployment benefits sometimes whether can be unpredictable in Philippines 🇵🇭 if the whether is bad he won’t able to make the end meet .. he faces so many obstacles.. un like US and Europe if you’re unemployed can claim unemployed benefits.. that’s what we pay heavy burdens on taxes..Philippines government is not that rich to look after every single citizen.. this is why majorette philipino work in self employed make their end meet..
Hope you are ok, and by posting this interview video, it means; that was a failed attempt to snatch your camera! Someone up there looking after you dai, stay strong, God bless you ... Good luck and wish you all the best. Be safe, stay safe, and be very careful. Best regards/Ned 👍❤️👍
I admire this man for showing initiative and getting out there and doing it to support his family. There are too many young men up in the province who are, 'on the corner', as the saying goes, so many don't want to work at all, and just hold their hand out. I know of some like that, even related to me. I just saw your end script, where you said, someone tried to snatch your camera. Wow, you should practice personal security, for example, attach your camera to your person with a strap of some sort. These are desperate times now during the Covid, people will do anything to make a few bucks. What would old B say?
Daddybob If my husband was there, they would not have tried as he is a menacing sight. I remember once in Ayala mall someone purposely bumped into me, my husband following behind saw it and pushed him and sent him flying, landing on his bum about 20 foot away.

Lots of people like taho, it's very good. Were you or your equipment hurt in anyway.
One actually had their hand on the camera but didn't break my grip. I was not hurt nor the camera.
@@villagepeoplephilippines that was a close call be very careful.
Do you know how much is the salary of a SM security guard in a Month? And they work how Many hours a day and how many days they work in a week?
Usually it depends on what their agency negotiated with the employer, but when I get the chance I will interview a security guard.
