Wow! I was fortunate to be there in person as well. Just returned from the 11-6 thru 11/13 Oasis of the Seas voyage. For some reason, the Allure's horn sounds MUCH louder than the Oasis' :-)
I made that comment because he or she said that he or she was depressed because his cruise was over. I feel the same way you do about cruises because I've been on 4 cruises and I loved them all.
@tyronh2 The horns are meant to be heard far away better than closer, so the horn of the ship your not on will always sound louder as long as the horns are similar size.
