Watched both 1&2 this afternoon while pups napped on my lap; Something I haven't done yet is to make the concaved "nooks" and create a figure to set inside. Gearing up for the challenge now that I watched these 2 videos today. As always, thanks so much for teaching us all about the world of carving Jordy!

Hi Jordy, I’m in the uk, I followed your 4 part video on carving a wood spirit for my first ever dremel carving and it turned out great. Thanks a lot for your time and energy you put into your videos.

Great vid!😊👍 Thanks for showing how to quickly replace the inner flex shaft as well. Very helpful. I have my old flex shaft that did just that, so now I can check it and maybe fix it up. Thanks for making your videos and sharing!❤ Carry on!😊

Hey Jordy. You are awesome and have helped me a ton. I’m down here in Utah lol. But love your videos and they helped pull me out of a dark place, wood carving did anyway I’m trying to do this owl and get stuck because I think it’s going to be crappy. People say it’s good but I don’t think it is. I have done a bunch of wood spirits I love those I have only been doing this for the last two weeks but I’m loving it. Keep up the awesome videos. Dustin

Jordy,I’m with you on the first idea for a carve. I like the way you done this owl carve being nice and informative as well as slow, it becomes more tutorial and feel like my mind wonders in the carving.

Hey my friend, love the owl!! Sorry about the broken shaft. The round flat kutzal burr is different. But very useful. Especially in bowls on any concave project's. Or reaching around ( like the owl) to get depth and to getan item to pop.

Maybe it was easier to remove the background with a conventional electric drill? And then clean it with a dremel. This saves time and tool resources.
