Now, THIS brings me back! I remember when the animations were a lot more common. I guess what everyone says about animating being a very low-paying job on UA-cam is true, because while MMD and music videos have continued, illustrations and animations are a lot less common. It's sad to see, because I think it's here where people's imagination comes to life the most, and I love to see the passion in these!
Yea, I heard animations like this can't really be monetized on UA-cam, hence most people stop making them and focus on other profitable content. Shame, really
Touhou animations in the old days are mostly PVs for fanmusic CDs. Sound Holic and Hatsunetsumiko being the most prominent to release animated PVs, I believe.
The trend just died in recent years and circles eventually stick to moving still images as it's probably cheaper/easier

It's so rare to see a touhou animation with this level of care put into it. You often see MMD nowadays and I'm ok with that. But I will always love this 2d hand drawn style way more.
Now is this the golden age of Touhou? Well, sadly no it has passed but I'm positive that one day it'll come back eventually. Ah...., If only I know Touhou back from the ancient days. Well, I've respect the animators in this platform not just Touhou. I can see one's passion in this piece of art. These people are truly motivating.
Touhou’s Golden age ended since 2014. In fact, doujin works have dwindled since. Still, this community is still pretty strong even after that era passed and im sure one day great content like this will re-emerge in the masses again someday. After all, its the unity and dedication that bring us all together
Possibility of Touhou getting revived into its golden age is low but never 0
A chosen one would return the game to its former peak and maybe even higher than that

I will be honest, LoLK isn't my favourite Touhou game but it is definitely my most favourite story out of any Touhou game. Kudos to vivian for making this. I am super huge fan of Junko and this is absolutely outstanding.
I might add subs later, maybe :p
I love LoLK and Junko is one of my favourite characters from Touhou so this animation is a 10/10 just because of that
