WORKER has done a lot of stuff in the hobby, and while they don't always come up with the idea they usually take their own swing at it and wind up making a pretty decent product. The Talon magazines are designed specifically for short darts (or WORKER's own darts) and are absolutely awesome. Buttery smooth followers, solid feeling, and a smart design make these an obvious choice if you're looking to get into a more competitive, compact magazine system.

Glad I can finally use short dart mags in my prophecy. Now to fix my prophecy. Or get a new shell and transplant internals.

Not at all. I just didn't feel like starting fights. There wasn't much point.

The more videos I see on the prophecy, the more I want to buy one. I just wish it didn't cost so much, cause you know I gotta get all the extra bits
I got lucky, I got a full build with expanded plunger tube, as many metal internal parts as they had, stock for the expanded spring/plunger tube, and the front piece and pump grip kit for $130. I jumped on the massive sale NFStrike had end of October. They're still having an ok sale, but in parts if need be. But definitely get the metal bolt sled while it's less than $30!

I’ve been a big fan of Jet since I started in this hobby about a year ago. Their constant production issues and the fact that you literally can’t buy their mags anywhere for months, like half a year now, have turned my opinion of the company quite sour. It’s a shame really because I still love their products. If they could stay on top of production, I would happily continue to pay the prices charged. I will be switching over to these worker mags while in the off season, and will likely build a prophecy.
Worker, nf strike, if you read these comments, PLEASE MAKE A LONGSHOT SHELL!!!!!
Seriously. Make a longshot kit compatible shell, and keep it affordable. You will continue to dominate the market, and I can promise that you will corner even more of it if you do.

There's no way they won't make one. Worker has Longshot internals already. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it in a month or two.

my Retalicon build and my future longshot build are pretty much worker internals so gonna get the Talon mag system and both Foam Blast and Out of Darts carries them along with them priced EXACTLY the SAME between both shops.

Imagine making a dart shooting Uzi with the magazine (or clip I forget a lot). With the small mag It’d be possible.

You know...as much as I love the idea of "half-dart mags that I can actually get a-hold of" (ahem*JET*ahem), I have one major problem with the Worker Talons: I've been gravity-assist changing magazines since the OG Recon days. Relearning how to change a f*cking magazine is going to suck.
I thought about that (this was my second whole video on this, first one I didn't like), but I shrugged it off because I would never want to have a Katana mag hit the ground...I mean, one step and it's done for and it'll probably never work again because it'll be full of dirt.
@@WalcomS7 Damn...are Katana mags really that fragile? I've tripped and fallen onto someone's Hasbro 18s, and they didn't even notice...
Thanks for the review. I unfortunately bought 7 katana mags about 2 months ago. 2 of them have jammed springs already. Do you think replacing the springs on these is worth it? Or just invest in talon mags and get one of slugs adaptors?

Then there's really no point to getting these. This is just a cheaper option that doesn't have the sticky follower problem (that only one of my 4 mags has an issue with).

That mag system would be perfect for an M1A1 Thompson build. (not the 1928 version)

I started seriously considering making one of those when these came out.
The m1928a1 was used with stick mags more often than drums so it would really work for any Thompson.

For plastic bolts, maybe, but this uses a metal bolt

Not really. You don't need range and accuracy in HvZ.

Not stock. But slug and others are making adaptors that can use both.

The fact tat these are cheap (even compared to worker pmags), hold more darts, uses probably less space and uses the same injection molding/plastic quality, ye talon mags are GREAT.

These came out at such a great time for me! Just got my Jet Omega kit and I haven't committed to any type of mags yet because of the pricing of Katana, but now thats changed! Gonna be working completely with Talon right now! Affordable and very efficient!!

Kinda doubt it, I think it's a general safety concern with these which is why no company like BuzzBee or Zuru has done it yet.
Safety concern as in: kids can swallow em cause they're too small? Or dangerous because they fly too fast and might hurt?
