This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!! I live in the Houston area, new home owner and it threw me off seeing all these gaps on the corners of my garage doors!

That’s for water drainage. Use cardboard instead.

I got some 5/16” x 5-13/16” PVC trim, I cut it 4’ long, notched the bottom to go into the lip of the garage floor, and attached it just inside the the rubber flap of the stop molding, then caulked all around it, that sealed it all the way off

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have the same issues with my garage door-gaps on the bottom corners. I have had a few lizards getting in through them. So I will definitely try your technique.

Yes I will try this... I had mice chew through the wood on the sides and get in (they're gone now 🙏🏾) and now lizards are now getting in the cracks..thanks for the tip!

This is very good. I’ve been using some copper scrubs and pushing them in that crack very tightly. Used about 2 per side and I used a paint stirrer with hammer to tap it in and get it very tight. Seems to work well so far. Use the copper because the iron ones will rust away.
