Grandma needn’t to apologise and definitely it’s not her fault whoever scalded her finger. Common sense tell us the heat will scald our fingers when dipped into the hot wok. Use a spoon to taste the gravy for flavour adjustment. It’s experiences in the kitchen that make us expertly.
Hi! Really like to see how Popo cook these dishes. It reminds of the dishes my grandma's dishes to. I'm from Sarawak, Kuching. The sweet corn in place here sold for RM 2.50 for 1 I believe RM 1.80 is quite cheap. 😊
The person who burn her finger imitating Poh Poh must be mentally challenged. I recommend this person don't watch Superman, Ultraman, Batman etc as you will definitely get into trouble as well. The way Poh Poh cook is a practical way. Highly organic and natural instinct of what a woman needs to do bringing up kids and providing for her family. If you are younger than Poh Poh and burnt your finger doing what she did, work on your own attitude and leave Poh Poh out of your winge. How fortunate Poh Poh so willing to share her experience with us.

哈哈哈哈。。。我媽媽試味道也是像婆婆這樣子的，好像很多老一輩試味道是這樣的，我就不敢了，我怕燙。
是真的，那个玉米中间硬硬的可以煲汤，很甜很香。我做过玉米高汤，煲了2-3小时，凉了装进盒子放冰箱冷冻。下次要煮面，拿出来煮面放料，好吃。做火锅高汤也可以，煮粥也可以。还有以前人晒干当柴烧煮饭炒菜。
还有，以前我妈也是用手指试味道。这方法不是人人都可以做的。
