Love when people ask me why I use a planner! I have same reaction! "how do I start? how much time do you have?!" 😂 I use a planner since I was at school. Plus I grew up seeing my mom using her little planner! So to me that's the way😉 I am happily using my hobonichi weeks for the 5th year now. Will keep using it next year since it still suits my needs. I do like stickers, but I have reduced the amount in the weekly pages to have more space for my writing as my planner is small. In the monthly I use more. I decorate as I go cause I have sticker/washi subscription and I always want to use the new things...😅love watching your planner set up video with all the stickers! It's my fav video in your channel! thanks for sharing with us, friend🥰
Hey Cecilia:) I always LOVE seeing your Planners on IG:) You are a functional planner, but much neater than I am..hee, hee! And That Weeks is a magical little book! I loved it the year I used it for my content planning, and other years just for playing in:) And I love how you said "how much time do you have"? LOL! That's about right;) Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts. I also love the memory of seeing your mom with her planner!
Really enjoyed this video. I love the colors in Erin Condren. I thought I was going to switch to Erin Condren for 2024 but I am really attached to Simplified Weekly. I like how you decorate in advance. Also glad you talked about how you use the 3 boxes. I always wondered about that.
Totally agree that this year EC sticker book was disappointing. I don't use the squares and functional stuff, I just like to add a few cute things to each week. I always enjoy your videos because your planner looks like a real person is using it!! I love seeing the pretty stuff as much as the next person, but that's not my planner reality! I write big and messy, have things scribbled out etc! Thanks for another fun video.
A few thoughts: I really love your personal planning videos because I get so much planning inspiration from you . I also love inky pens, currently using uni ball Signo .7 in blue. I think I actually complain about our Texas weather year round. If I had to pick a favorite season it would be fall. IMO it's usually too hot, too cold or too windy. LOL Like you mentioned it is really tough financially these days to pick up and move. So hang in there, friend!! cooler months to come :) XX Have a great week! XX
Thank you for commiserating with me about Texas weather Vickie! I try to look for the good-but Texas isn't my ideal place to live since I would love to hike and crave nature! And yes-financially we just aren't able to move now. And thanks for sharing your favorite inky pen! I have the signo in .38 for my 5 year journals and love them. But never tried it in .7!
I’m in a Plum Paper planner this year (I have a personal planner and a teacher planner), and I’m using a Sugar Paper planner from Target for a “positive pants”/moment of joy journal. I love the idea of stickering all at once! I may try it for either the rest of my calendar year planner or in my new teacher planner.
Thanks for sharing what you are using Andrea:) I love that you are also doing a positive pants or moment of joy! And I think this is my 4th year to sticker all at once!
I’m in WV and I hate the winter lol. We are pretty mild otherwise. Jan. Feb March are the worst here. Then we complain that the pool weather it too short.
I know we all suffer on one end of the weather or the other! But I do think some do better in warmer and others prefer cooler;) But no one wants the extremes to last for months!
Useful reason for daily track-planning is logging medical habits such as vitamins or morning evening stretches Doesn’t sound big but for me it’s difference between doing and not
always love your more chatty videos! I am changing up my planning style as of 8/1. Currently (impatiently) waiting on an EC a5 notebook that will be used for my daily log/journal and my daily duo will move to be strictly appointments/plans. (I finally remembered to use your affiliate code on that by the way.) I absolutely love Han Can Plan's designs and considering using her kits + notebooks next year to give me both structure in a monthly layout of my own design and space for using some decor stickers still. I think that planning (on paper for me) improves my life greatly because it gets all of the plans/thoughts/ideas out of my head to clear it and once I can see it in front of me and organized (at least somewhat), I can control the chaos a bit better.
Hey Susanne:) I love hearing this new plan starting 8/1! It sounds great to me..and love your future ideas for incorporating stickers next year;) And I agree with all your thoughts on paper planning! you are right on and said it so well:) Have a good week!
It’s valid to dislike the heat I m glad I chose a college in a cooler area a LONG time ago Yes at end of college I married a local boy But many reasons that does not work for folks
For the first time ever, I used a planner briefly during my spring semester in 2020 for college. Yesterday I decided to get back in the habit for school and just life. I purchased an EC life planner and I’m so excited to plan! I was stuck between the hourly or the vertical planner, and went with the hourly. Hopefully I don’t regret it.
I love this:) I think you will really enjoy the EC and the changes they made to the hourly this year are wonderful! Enjoy it:) And good luck with next semester;)
Right now I just phased it out and putting my goals/projects/lists in my EC dashboard. But when I review her 2024 planners I might like them so much that who knows what I will do for 2024;)
Is it my imagination or does ECondren have a lot less cover choices now? I I am using my old covers but would be nice to get a new cover I like I go for romantic that’s not floral only
That's a good question...I am not sure. I do think they have less covers that I love then when I first started with them like 6 years ago. But that's just my personal preference;)
@@AmandasFavorites a lot of covers don’t appeal I don’t care for Star Wars or Hello kitty stuff They used to have beautiful designs that went beyond bunches of flowers
Lovely though these EC planners are, you'd be as well getting a $2 planner from your local stationery store considering the huge amount of blank pages in the 2022/23 planner. It's such a waste of money, no?
Pretty vibrant stickers . Thanks for the flip through.
Yes I’ve been waiting for this one :))) I could not agree more regarding the monthly sticker book thanks
Aw, yay! I am glad you enjoyed this video:) And the sticker book is a bummer:(
So fun! Thank you Amanda for the chat and inspiring peek into your cute planner---I always look forward to this video! 💕
Glad you enjoyed it Patricia;) Have a good week!

We are the same I had a pocket calendar as long as I could remember. Bc we did not get that in school.
love that memory;)
OOOh! Can't wait to watch this when I get a chance! I'll be it'll be GREAT! Thank you, Amanda ☺☺☺
Thank you Cie:) I love it when y'all are excited for my videos:)

I agree! Amazon frixions rock. Lol I don't know why but they're so good. Haha sometimes they're too inky! 😅
Love that Amazon! They save us in many ways;)

That is a really good point! No one has ever brought that up to me and I really do see the value in that! Thank you!

I was on the Planner Perfect site and couldn't find the monthly stickers anywhere. Do you know if they were taken out of the shop or sold out?
I believe they are now only available in the monthly sub boxes. I wish she sold them separately too!

Will you be reviewing the new Laurel Denise planner soon? 😁
My review for Laurel Denise 2024 planners will be Sept. 5th! And her launch is Sept. 6th:)

I respect your thoughts and opinions. But I don't h=feel like there are many blank pages in the EC at all.....They all have the weekly layouts.
There are 5 pages in the back... how is that a lot? I could use some more pages honestly...
