Just felt Indira was talking to me 😀 Answered many things I had in mind (as a skilled Indian migrant in Europe). Amazing interview by Arthi and Sriram.
I loved the fact that Indra Nooyi was provided time off to take care of her ailing father which she did - but she cancelled her leave and joined back early after her dad passed away! Her human element really called out to me - how many CEOs can claim to have done they?
Amazing every time I listen to Indra I feel even more impressed with how good she is. You two did an amazing job of asking great question thanks. Can you get Dhoni on the show please. Cheers
Thanks Aarthi & Sriram for this wonderful conversation with corporate magnate like Indra Nooyi. I portray her image parallel to my grandparents & parents because the way she taught us how to respect our elder people & create an ecosystem for their well being with move on succesful ladder day by day in corporate life & works like a transformer. She is best among my icons apart from my grandarents & parents.
Arthi and Sriram - thanks for the great great content in this show! I truly wish I had such mentors and podcasts when I was in my teens! This show’s content by Indra Nooyi was so relatable! I am from a conservative family in madras probably 12 years earlier than both of you and the past as you and her mention was so so relatable! I serve as a board member at a women in tech non profit and we brought in Indra Nooyi for the keynote and we loved it!
Simply Brilliant !! Pleasure listening to Ms Indra Nooyi; so much to learn from her through this episode. Thank you Aarthi and Sriram for bringing this to us and for keeping the conversations so fun and pleasant. Ms Indra looked so much at ease and kudos to you for making your guest feel so warm. Honor to listen to Ms Indra. You’re an inspiration.
Great podcast. Been a regular on your clubhouse and missed you guys in action for few months. But such a lovely interview and every conversation is eye opening and leaves me craving for more . Btw I sincerely hope sriram does say yes to that role for twitter CEO :)
Omg, this is such a fantastic episode! Loved the question about giving 100% at work and balancing that with family/kids. All the questions were well crafted throughout the interview. Close to real-life; answers that viewers can learn from and identify areas of improvement. Thank you so much for doing this podcast.
Hey, SriRam and Aarthi can you guys invite Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu sir. He is a huge inspiration for me. He is truly revolutionizing the tech industry in a good. Please 🙏
Economically independent, Financially rich, Decent jobs that respect Female Workers at their Workplace/Educational Institutions/Professional Environment, However, within the closed walls of their Households, there are Thousands of Women, who have been slapped atleast once &/ continues till present date & time, by their Spouse/Life Partner(predominantly Male), some of these reported cases came to my direct purview, eyes, and ears, not just in South India and PAN India, but throughout the world, and a few men facing domestic violence from their Spouse/Life Partner, and also mostly from their In-Laws.
If economic independence thing was true, then why so many house maids face domestic abuse from their drunk husbands, despite when their husband being the dependent one???
Well, she's inspiration to many so for me. But, I'm disappointed how she keeps repeating that Communication is the key. Yes, I agree Communication is important. But more than Communication what matters most is domain expertise. A non- technical boss boast about their Communication. A technical boss don't give a damn about Communication rather prefer person with good domain expertise. I don't like it when people put Communication before product knowledge. This is what they say talk less work more.
I think she’s just saying what helped her out. It’s important to refine your language and the way you speak to succeed. There are other ways as well but this might be something which helped her out more.
Thanks for another great episode you both!

This is an organically amazing piece. Every word uttered by Mrs.Indra Nooyi after 1:00:00 is a gem.
